This Independence Day, we have a lot to fight for to make this experiment in democracy more perfect. While we gather today with family and friends, may we not lose sight of what is at stake for Pennsylvania and this nation in a few short months.
This July 4th, I’m redoubling my efforts to help elect John Fetterman for US Senate, Josh Shapiro for Governor, and so many other Democrats up and down the ballot because so many of our basic freedoms are on the line.
With another Democratic vote in the US Senate we can:
eliminate the filibustercodify the protections of Roe v. Wadetake on the price gouging from big corporations and inflationfight the climate crisis
And so much more.
With a Democratic Governor we can:protect safe and legal abortion in Pennsylvaniamake historic investments in education and fix our toxic schoolsmodernize our election system and make it easier to votelower property taxes and expand affordable housing
With more Democrats elected up and down the ballot we can:SAVE OUR DEMOCRACY!
