I hope you’re enjoying your 4th of July, whether you’re spending it with your feet up on the cooler, or playing grillmaster. Or maybe you’re like me, cracking open a beer and watching my Cleveland Guardians play a doubleheader this afternoon. To me, the 4th of July is a holiday that is both a celebration of all we’ve accomplished as Americans, as well as a reminder that there’s still work to be done in the fight for freedom and equality in this country. There are still too many families struggling to get by—too many parents working multiple jobs to keep food on the table, too many seniors cutting pills in half because of the skyrocketing costs of prescription drugs, and too many people whose voices are being drowned out by a business-as-usual order of politics that doesn’t work for them. That’s why we’ve got to give this race our all—because Ohioans deserve someone who will go to the mat fighting for the things that matter most to their families, their values, and their wallets. With your help, I’m confident we can deliver on that promise and cut workers in on the deal. Thanks, and happy Independence Day! Tim Ryan
