Last night, we made history.
Together, as a multiracial, multigenerational movement, we proved that a grassroots, people-powered campaign can defeat the millions in corporate Super PAC money trying to take us down.
You were with me all the way. And so was Justice Democrats, helping me strategize, organize, and run a winning campaign from the very beginning. We stuck together even while facing millions in attack ads. We were stronger than the attacks.
They had the money. We had the people. The people won.
Justice Democrats needs our support if we want to continue lifting up working-class progressives and winning more primaries. So, can you contribute $10 to Justice Democrats right now to keep up our momentum?
Now they will never be able to say that we can’t win on a ballot by and for working class people. And they'll never be able to say that we can't win fighting for clean air and water, Medicare for All, and a quality education for every single child.
We showed them throughout this race that when we build coalitions of people of all races, religions, genders, and ages and come together we can't be stopped.
From the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you to each and every supporter of this movement. This is only the beginning, and together we'll take this momentum for bold, progressive change all the way to Congress.
And we need to win some more primaries before November. Justice Democrats has more Democratic primaries in 2022 where working-class progressive fighters will take on the establishment. They helped lift my campaign up and we need to do the same for others right now.
I am honored and grateful to be the Democratic nominee for Pennsylvania's 12th Congressional seat. Now it’s time for the next fight, as Justice Democrats try to win even more primaries, including Jessica Cisneros’ primary next week.
Thank you for believing that a young Black woman from the Mon Valley can bring our bold, progressive vision to Congress. I will continue to fight for our community, no matter what.
Forever grateful,
Summer
