THIS is a list I can get behind.

We've had a productive few weeks in Congress passing legislation to replace the outdated systems of the past with smarter, safer, and more resilient infrastructure.
This is a moment to course-correct our future: an infrastructure bill that:

Rebuilds Our Infrastructure and Advances Environmental Justice by providing funding for:
  • a new carbon pollution reduction program including electric vehicle charging stations, pedestrian and bike infrastructure, refreshing our public transit - including zero-emissions buses;
  • climate disaster prevention and mitigation; and
  • modernize our highways and make railway investments.
Expands quality health care access by upgrading hospitals to address long-standing facility disparities in underserved communities.

Provides better facilities for our kids with funding to rebuild and reopen our schools and to help upgrade child care facilities

Creates a more equitable society by investing $100B in affordable housing infrastructure and $100B for the expansion of rural broadband, all while creating well-paying jobs.
Together, we can build a more just and equitable future by dedicating resources to low-income communities; improving access for people with disabilities; and emphasizing environmental and social justice.
More soon,
Jim
