Yesterday, Democrats across Massachusetts held their first day of caucuses, and Team Markey had an incredible turnout and wins all across the state.
We saw massive statewide support for Ed. People are turning out for Ed because he always stands up for us and delivers for Massachusetts families.
Working people are leading the fight to re-elect Ed because he’s leading on the fights that matter to us — from climate change, to gun safety, to health care, to immigrant rights.
Now, these aren’t like the Iowa caucuses — no apps, real-time reporting, and most importantly, they don’t determine the winner of the primary.
But what they do is allow us to build organizing infrastructure in every community, in every region, person-by-person. Yesterday, those wins demonstrated the progress we are making. Yesterday’s wins demonstrated that your support is translating into exactly what it will take to win on September 1.
Ed started the day in his hometown of Malden — where we secured one of our first wins of the day.
Then we took that momentum and won caucuses all across the state from Sunderland, to Belmont, to Yarmouth and beyond.
This was just the start. There will be more caucuses all across the state in the next few weeks. So we need your help to expand our ground game.
Will you help us make it clear that our grassroots movement has what it takes to win?
Make a $25 donation to our campaign right now, and we’ll put it to work immediately in our organizing operation — hiring organizers and expanding Team Markey’s reach in every community in Massachusetts. We would not ask if this were not so important.
The investments we’re making in our organizing operation right now are critical. The work we do on the ground right now will determine whether we win or lose on Election Day.
Thank you in advance for making a contribution.
