I sat down with Dana Bash on CNN about how low JD Vance and his allies have stooped during these midterms. Hear me when I say: No one has stooped lower than the profoundly and pathetically weak excuse of a Vice President we have in JD Vance. Before I say any more: I don’t even want to be writing this email. I’m tired of this, you’re tired of this, we’re all tired of the disgusting lack of morals shown by JD Vance and his allies. But they’re getting dangerously close to winning in key races up and down the ballot — including right here in Pennsylvania. Please, will you rush a donation right now to help me reject this politics of the lowest common denominator? Look, everywhere JD Vance goes, he puts on a phony act and chastises all of us about “morality” and “respectable politics.” But then he turns around and shows us what little morality he actually practices. The truth is: JD Vance has no core. He does whatever his boss tells him to do. He makes lame excuses for Republican candidates’ disgusting attack ads. And when everything fails, he begs and pleads with voters to give Republicans “another chance.” It all speaks to the lack of character being pushed by Donald Trump, JD Vance, and those who stand faithfully beside this corrupt administration. And in just nine days, we need to send them the strongest rejection possible. This isn’t a message I can send alone.
