While ICE raids rip immigrant families apart and veterans who served this country get deported, the man in the White House is literally selling the American Dream to whoever can cut him the biggest check.
My grandfather came here with little more than the shirt on his back.
He worked the steel mills of Chicago and the coal mines of Appalachia to give his family a shot at a better life.
He raised kids and grandkids who wore the uniform, served in combat, taught in public schools, and fought to make this country stronger.
That was the promise of America: that hard work, grit, and service could earn you a place in the story of this nation.
If you still believe the American Dream should be open to anyone willing to earn it through sweat and service, help me flip this seat and send these MAGA jackaloons packing.
For Trump, this is the same old con.
Pretend to stand with working people, then sell them out to the highest bidder.
Working class immigrants contribute more to this country in a single shift than Trump has in his entire life.
They pay taxes, raise families, and put in the kind of labor he’s never known.
And this was never about damn money anyway: it’s about dignity, belonging, and the belief that every person willing to work for a better future deserves that chance.
I refuse to watch this country be pawned off piece by piece to grifters who treat citizenship like a Fox News infomercial, wedged between gold coin ads and miracle brain pills.
The American Dream is not for sale.
