The Trump Regime Lost All Week. Here’s What They’d Rather Hide.

The Trump Regime Lost All Week. Here’s What They’d Rather Hide.

A judge guts their mail-ballot scheme, they confess in court, and a red-state town beats their $100,000 shakedown

I’ve sat across the table from candidates three weeks out who had no idea how good their numbers actually were. Today’s are that good. Republicans know it too—which is why you’re not hearing many victory laps out of them right now.

Before we jump in, tap the heart and restack this one. Every share puts the truth in front of someone before a pundit lies about it.

And if you’ve been reading us for free, my House analysis and the complete Emerson breakdown are for paid subscribers only, starting right below. Come see the numbers that should be keeping the other side up at three in the morning:

THE LEAD THE REGIME CAN’T SHAKE

The read I would give a candidate at a kitchen table, not a cable panel.

Emerson recently polled on a key question—Democrats or Republicans for Congress? It came back 53 to 42 in favor of the Democrats.

After 23 years and hundreds of campaigns, my advice to Democrats running is simple: sprint through the finish, run like you’re behind, and campaign like the momentum is already yours. Because it is.

The same pollster tracked Democrats up by 10 in April and June—now it’s up to 11. When a lead holds for that long, it stops being a mood and becomes the baseline.

Democratic women are outrunning even that topline number. Their lead is 27 points, more than double the overall margin.

Men are still a coin flip. And you know as well as I do how that chamber flips, one suburban district at a time, on who shows up—and out in those suburbs the ones showing up are women. So the single biggest figure in this whole poll is parked right on top of the exact seats Democrats have got to win.

Then comes the one that ought to have Republicans up pacing late at night. Ask people what threat worries them most, and for the first time this whole term, democracy itself tops the list—ahead of the economy.

That worry jumped ten points in a single month. And the economy, something the GOP has always touted, fell eleven. November is coming.

THEY TRIED TO STEAL YOUR BALLOT

Let’s say your mail-in ballot just never shows up this fall. The county swears they sent it. But the real story is it’s sitting in a postal facility because you aren’t on the “official” list the White House gave the Post Office.

That’s exactly what Trump’s ridiculous executive order does. States give USPS a roster of the mail voters they’ve approved, and the Post Office simply won’t deliver to the rest of you.

The League of Women Voters sued over it, and last week Judge Indira Talwani refused to throw the case out. She said Trump’s order was unconstitutional, and warned that voters getting shut out this election is “plausibly likely and imminent.”

The regime assumed a pause from a federal appeals court gave them an opening. So the League went back into Talwani’s court. The Judge gave the White House a line from an eighth-grade quiz: “The President plays no role” in elections.

She rules on burying it for good on August 7. One thing is certain—I wouldn’t want to be the lawyer stuck defending it.

THEY CONFESSED TO PUNISHING BLUE

 STATES

The regime has sworn up and down that they canceled billions in energy grants to fight waste. Energy Secretary Chris Wright even told Congress in June, “No decisions were made on politics.” Guess what? That was a lie.

In court filings this month, the regime admitted it killed $7.6 billion in grants “based solely on the political identity” of a state. Meaning if it voted for Kamala Harris they were cut. Money to fix the power grid, plug methane leaks, and build clean fuel—all gutted to punish Americans just for how they voted.

Trump’s budget director and architect of Project 2025 Russell Vought was the one who ordered it, bragging online that “the Left’s climate agenda is being canceled.” Sen. Patty Murray and Rep. Marcy Kaptur called it what it is: “outright un-American.”

Federal judge Amit Mehta already ruled the scheme is illegal, a clear violation of equal protection under the Constitution. They punished us for how we voted. A judge already started ordering the money back, and the states they took it from are coming for the rest.

THE REGIME APPEALED. THEY LOST AGAIN.

A president doesn’t get to dream up a tax, only Congress can do that. Last I checked, we fought a whole war to make that point stick. But that didn’t stop Trump from signing a proclamation last fall that hit employers with $100,000 fees every time they went to hire a foreign-born doctor, nurse, or lab tech.

Twenty Democratic attorneys general sued over it. Judge Leo Sorokin threw the fee out in June. The regime appealed, just like they do with everything. On Friday, the First Circuit slammed the door in their face, reminding them that the power to tax was never theirs to begin with.

And here’s who they were really fighting. In Hettinger, North Dakota—a town of a thousand people—lab manager Bekki Holzkamm has been trying to fill one job since last summer. More than thirty people applied. Not one was a US citizen. That hundred-thousand-dollar fee is what her hospital pays two technicians in a year.

They said this protects American workers. Instead it kept a small-town hospital from filling one job, and two courts threw it out.

THE BILLIONAIRES ARE BUYING THE NEWS

On Friday night Trump showed up at the redo for the Correspondents’ Dinner and completely bombed. It was an hour of stale insults to a mostly stone-silent room. But what was even worse was what he did between the “jokes.”

He praised Larry and David Ellison, the billionaires who took over Paramount and now want CNN’s parent company too. He thanked David Ellison for the “changes” at CBS News, toasting the men buying newsrooms and bending them his way.

In that audience sat The Wall Street Journal journalists he’s suing for $10 billion over their Epstein reporting. They won the night’s top award for courage. One of them had her home address exposed by a Trump lawsuit, and her family had to move. She kept investigating anyway.

The owners cut deals with power, while reporters doing the real work pay the price. Guess which side we stand on.

That’s exactly why independent media has never been more important in this country. We don’t have any corporate overlords that can cancel our story or soften how we cover it. No one can buy us off.

On top of the reporting and our investigations, we power the resistance. Our pressure campaigns on Congress over dozens of issues have hit their desks nearly 800,000 times, along with flooding their offices with countless calls. All while running an unmatched social media operation that gets the truth to millions who would never get it otherwise.

So they cut off the grants to the very states who remit the most in taxes to fund their stupidity Blue states wake up!

For sure

GOOD POINT!

They continue to TARGET BLUE STATES with their PROPAGANDA slashing funds - insist the FRAUD only exists in BLUE STATES and so on.

The U.S. is an ENERGY GUZZLER compared to most other nations PER CAPITA.

CHEAP CLEAN ENERGY is the solution and would have allowed us to survive Rump's IRAN WAR LUNACY...but DIRTY ENERGY pays Rump well.....in this day and age, how STUPID do you have to be to promote DIRTY COAL?

Keep an eye out for CHEAP CLEAN ENERGY SOLUTIONS - BALCONY SOLAR is being offered where states have approved the regulations - check out the prices - fairly nominal. You could buy one and with the ENERGY SAVINGS, buy another.

CHINA offers CHEAP SOLAR COLLECTORS with BATTERY BACKUP, ideal for POOR NATIONS...ignored by the US DIRTY ENERGY INDUSTRY!

TAKE A LOOK:
Easy-to-use solar panels are coming, but utilities are trying to delay them

No tax $ without representation

For a period of time, I had a RENTAL CAR from D.C. - that's on their LICENSE PLATES!

Remember the Boston Tea Party. We need to stop sending money to the federal government if they are blocking blue states. No taxation without representation

The government gets to use taxpayer money to defend its lawsuits, then appeal when they lose. I would really like to see a change. The lawyers representing the government have to pay the courts the fees for wasting everyone's time with frivolous lawsuits. I would like law licenses to be stripped. At some point in time, the lawyers wasting all this time and productivity delaying real cases while taxpayers continue to fund it need to have a change of heart and that starts with sanctions and losing a license over it.

What is the latest with McConnell being dead but still be a senator and his staff still getting paid from taxpayer dollars? When will the lawsuits be filed against what has to be a crime for a dead guy impersonating a live senator? Don't we have laws that say dead people cannot vote? Collect social security? Yet, here we are...

And, don’t say they can’t keep our mail from us. We moved 100 miles away from our previous house on March 7th. We’re still waiting for our mail. I’ve used all the options we have to get the mail they’re holding, but there’s nothing else I can do. They just break the law at will, we don’t matter.

The Post Office was running a real high end business until T came into office. Huge amts of $$ taken by Trump’s “new” admin pulled resources from USPS & it’s slowed down rural deliveries which must be true for cities even more because of quantities of mail and cut backs to personnel.

TRUE! USPS was so slashed, that LIVE CHICKS were delivered DEAD!

USPS was NEVER intended to be a money maker - JUST DELIVER THE MAIL!

Every single media group who attended that atrocious dinner should be ashamed of themselves. Wolf Blitzer, should be ashamed of himself. Spin that dinner any way you want but to see them hob nobbing with the billionaires, laughing and toasting turned my stomach. That's what I saw. I saw mainstream media, who trump ridicules, cuts off with questioning, mostly directed at female reporters, bending the knee. When he viciously attacked Collins, and the female reporters that should have been the point where every one of those people walked out of the room. They didn't and that's a disgusting display. No integrity no dignity - that's how I view msm platforms who were in that room.

GOP group comes clean after getting busted meddling in Dem primary elections: report

Story by Alexander Willis • 1mo

excerpt:

A Republican political action committee (PAC) that “initially took great effort” to hide their identity came clean Monday after admitting to Punchbowl News they had “meddled” in Democratic primaries in several states.

“Republicans are leveling the playing field after over a decade of Democrats meddling in our primaries,” said Samantha Bullock, a spokesperson for Conservative Americans PAC, speaking with Punchbowl News. “And with the Democrat Party in the midst of a civil war, Republicans would be stupid not to take advantage while pushing their candidates farther left.”

The Wall Street journal winning the award for courage at the correspondence dinner. I wish we had a large scroll that noted every illegal action that was beat and also the ones to be noted for future reference. I know there must be a list somewhere online of these things but the scroll could be effective read out loud.

Every time a Judge slams the door on Trump, that gives me the energy and smile to fight back. Every time I read how a community or people fight back on Trump, that gives me the energy and smile to fight back. I have a racist, MAGA hater who lives upstairs. He thought he could insult me by calling me a socialist. I responded thank you for calling me that because I truly love to help people. And when he said how he pays taxes, I told him, well I pay taxes too. He stormed off then. And I will continue to be polite and smile to these racists. I will not stoop to their level. Keep smiling at them. They will wonder what is happening.

You don't have to be an advocate for clean air or to say climate change is real to know we must take care of our earth, air, and water.

Every time I hear DJT dumping on blue states, I can't help but think... So he is willing to dump on Republicans in blue states? We have a lot of republicans in my blue state. Many are 2nd and 3rd generation republicans who elected republican governors and republican state congressional people. How does dumping on them make any sense??? Why are those republicans even staying in that party? This is like getting on a train that you know has a crazy engineer who wants to run the train off the track! Mercy me.

Sandy, even though it’s horrific, that’s a GREAT analogy 🚂

Seems to me there are legal issues with cutting funding in blue states… but, oh yeah, the president has immunity from his official acts.

Russell Vought: A man without integrity, compassion, and respect for the constitution. Hope he withers away.

With less than 100 days most important to not lose the momentum and continue to encourage, energize and enthuse all of America that the fight is imperative, imminent and increasingly important we don’t slack at all! Democracy is at stake! Jobs are at stake! Our children’s future at stake. Remember strength in numbers! Make your plan to vote now!

Vought and Miller are Trump's Rasputins. I doubt very much that Trump is doing anything of substance himself, including making reasoned choices regarding the ordure that his minions are serving up. Let's focus on Vought for the moment:

Critics, congressional watchdogs, and federal judges have identified multiple areas where his actions violate or stretch statutory law.The primary legal challenges and rulings surrounding Vought's actions center on specific categories:

1. Illegal Withholding of Funds (The Impoundment Control Act)The most frequent legal charge against Vought is that he has violated the Impoundment Control Act of 1974 (ICA), which mandates that the executive branch must spend money exactly as appropriated by Congress. The Accusation: Congressional committees and watchdogs have accused Vought of illegally "freezing" or enacting "pocket rescissions" on hundreds of billions of dollars. This includes halting funding for green energy initiatives, the National Institutes of Health, USDA food assistance, and foreign aid.The Defense: Vought and the administration openly argue that the ICA is an unconstitutional infringement on presidential power. They assert that the executive branch has the inherent right to review and pause spending to align with the President's priorities.

2. Violations of Federal Grant LawsVought has used the OMB to aggressively terminate or rewrite the rules for federal scientific and community grants. The Legality: In July 2026, a federal judge ruled against the administration's attempts to cancel active university research grants under the guise of "changed agency priorities". The court determined that federal agencies cannot legally cite shifting political priorities to terminate active grants without proper statutory cause, blocking the policy across 23 states. Vought has since faced intense pushback over a newly proposed OMB rule designed to bypass this by permanently granting political appointees the authority to rescind grants.

3. Hiding Public Records (Transparency Violations)The Legality: Vought was sued by the watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) for taking down the legally mandated public tracker that shows how the OMB directs agency spending. In January 2026, a federal court ruled against Vought, granting a motion to enforce that ordered the administration to restore the hidden data, finding that keeping it offline directly violated the transparency requirements enacted by Congress.

4. Overstepping Authority at the CFPBVought has simultaneously served as the Acting Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), where he ordered a total freeze on all supervision, enforcement, and examinations. The Legality: Labor unions and consumer advocacy groups have launched lawsuits against these directives. They argue that under the Dodd-Frank Act, the CFPB director is legally mandated to enforce consumer protection laws, and that unilaterally gutting enforcement capabilities by 80% is an arbitrary, capricious, and unlawful abandonment of statutory duty.

Summary of Legal Status

While Vought operates under the protection of executive orders, several of his most sweeping maneuvers—specifically regarding public spending transparency and the sudden termination of federal research grants—have already been deemed unlawful by federal courts. His larger efforts to permanently dismantle the congressional appropriations process remain the subject of ongoing, high-stakes constitutional litigation.

The thing I find interesting is how many people say certain things are down right un-American. The thing is are they really? To me it seems like a we’ve learned over these last 10 years is we’re seeing the true America. We’re seeing how Americans truly are. And I am not impressed with my fellow Americans. We really need to get over ourselves. Every one of us has been brainwashed since fucking childhood about what a great country this is. That it’s the greatest country that is or was or ever will be. That God blesses America. It isn’t just Maga that is in a cult. We are not exceptional! We are not great! We have never been fucking exceptional! We have never been fucking great! And maybe someday if everybody who isn’t Maga could finally get that through their thick skulls, we could maybe possibly rebuild the country into something that could be great. But seriously people stop fucking saying that these things are not truly American. We are a country who was founded on the backs of slaves and the genocide of the indigenous population. We have never come to terms with the fact that we stole land and we bought people. And until white fucking Americans begin to accept that, we’re going to get nowhere. At this point I am glad that I have left the US now. I shouldn’t say now, I’m a married a man from Sweden and I’ve been here well over 20 years. But I visit a lot and I see what’s happening. And all of us are complicit in what has happened in this last decade or more. We can’t blame it all on the orange monster and the morons who voted for him. We are pretty much all morons regardless of party affiliation.

Trump is the biggest un-American and anti-American anyone has ever seen. Referring to him as an American is a direct insult to all actual Americans. Congressional Republicans, his regime members, and the Republican Party, at least at the national level, fit the same bill. MAGA is a con or a bad joke. I'm so sick of them all and all their supporters! UGH!

I don't understand how the Winners, mostly women could shake the hand of the orange president.

Every win pumps me up to fight harder. I hate the trmp regime and everything they stand for. And the same goes for the spinless GOP members of Congress (both chambers) who support him. It's good to know our courts are holding the line. Now that we are just a bit over 3 months til the mid-terms, I will donate as much as I can to various candidates. I can't donate to everyone, but I have my list and it starts with Alexander Vindman who is running against the useless trmp toady Ashley Moody for US Senate.

I posted an article this AM that included $$$$ - VOTERS are supporting INDIVIDUAL CANDIDATES at RECORD LEVELS! GRASSROOTS SUPPORT!

This may be the article to which you were referring:

DNC chair Ken Martin is under fire and melting down

The embattled Democratic National Committee leader is undermining the party’s midterm — and 2028 — prospects

https://www.salon.com/2026/07/26/dnc-chair-ken-martin-is-under-fire-and-melting-down/

WE stopped contributing to the DNC when they BLACK BALLED anyone seeking to unseat an INCUMBENT!  They successfully got CORRUPT CUELLAR re-elected, as well as others!

excerpt:

#`1 CUELLAR

In early May 2024, Cuellar was indicted on money laundering, bribery and conspiracy charges by a federal grand jury in Houston, Texas; he was alleged to have accepted nearly $600,000 from the Azerbaijani government and a Mexican commercial bank in order to influence U.S. policy. He was pardoned by President Donald Trump in December 2025 before the case was brought to trial.

On January 11, 2019, the progressive organization Justice Democrats, which supported U.S. representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's successful 2018 primary campaign in New York City, announced that it was seeking a primary challenger against Cuellar in the Democrat primary scheduled for March 4, 2020.[32] On July 13, 2019, the Justice Democrats organization announced its support for Jessica Cisneros, a 26-year-old immigration and human rights attorney from Laredo who had announced a primary campaign against Cuellar.[33] Cuellar defeated Cisneros 51.8% to 48.2% in the primary.[34] He won the general election in November with 58.3% of the vote, defeating Republican nominee Sandra Whitten and Libertarian nominee Bekah Congdon.[35]

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Cuellar

There was also an INCUMBENT WAR MONGER who was replaced.

#2 There were a number of other candidates we supported who ran against INCUMBENTS successfully. That was a poorly chosen attack.

#3 More than 100 U.S. Representatives voted last week to block $3.3 billion in military funding for Israel. It's a seismic shift, bringing Congress closer to ending U.S. complicity with Israel's atrocities in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, and Iran.

There is growing OPPOSITION to continued funding of ISRAEL'S GENOCIDE and ATROCITIES.

#4 AIPAC = ANTI-DEMOCRACY

Voters are paying attention to the WELL FUNDED AIPAC tentacles that are promoting ISRAEL'S ETHNIC CLEANSING and GENOCIDE. ISRAEL intercepts HUMANITARIAN AID and imprisons aid workers...after years of killing doctors, aid workers, journalists and any who dare present the TRUTH!

THE TRUTH IS BEING PUBLISHED! The WORLD knows what BARBARIANS the nation of ISRAEL has become. How can any reasonable, informed person support ISRAEL?
