This morning, at 7:18am local time, ICE agents fatally shot a 26 year old Maine man in the head.   His three year old daughter was in the car with him when agents opened fire. She was wearing Bluey pajamas.   The agency immediately turned to the now familiar talking point, claiming the victim attempted to run agents over with his vehicle by driving the car in their direction.   But independent video proves that this is a stone cold lie.

One eyewitness described agents removing the driver who was “bleeding profusely from the head.” He could hear the man talking, pleading with agents. His last words were: “I tried to stop.” ICE fired shots into a moving vehicle with a three year old child inside, killed her father with a bullet to the head – then dragged his body out and placed handcuffs on him. And none of it was caught on bodycam because agents weren’t wearing any. Let me be clear: If I took these actions against a civilian in a warzone, I’d be court martialed to the fullest extent of the law.

Earlier this year, in the wake of the murders of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, Congress negotiated a bipartisan agreement to continue funding the agency responsible for all these deaths by authorizing $20 million dollars to outfit every agent in the field with bodycams. This morning’s incident marks the second fatal shooting in the space of a week where no bodycams were present. And the 11th fatal ICE shooting in Trump’s 2nd term. These are the moments where the official narrative can quickly overwrite the truth, and why ResistMap moves quickly to gather all available public evidence and preserve the permanent record. We’ve already filed public records requests for CCTV footage in the area and any other releasable details. We’re collecting evidence reported and posted on social media as we speak, and our team is assembling a full picture of the facts. I took an oath to support and defend the constitution, against all enemies, both foreign and domestic. ResistMap will do everything it can to ensure that these “agents” are brought to justice.
