Hey everybody, touching base this morning and checking in to see how everybody’s doing.

I think the biggest news yesterday, which broke late in the day, was that Saudi Arabia reportedly banned the United States from using its airspace and military bases inside the country. We then learned Kuwait took similar measures as well. It appears this was the real reason Donald Trump abruptly abandoned the so-called “Project Freedom” less than 24 hours after announcing it.

As we discussed from the start, Iran immediately viewed Project Freedom as a dangerous escalation. Iran responded by striking a UAE port in Fujairah, a UAE ship, a South Korean vessel, and reportedly a French-flagged ship as well. The message from Iran was clear: if the United States escalates further, Iran believes it can inflict significant economic and geopolitical pain.

And at this point, Iran, along with much of the world, appears to view Donald Trump as all bluff and no strategy. All market manipulation and theatrics, but no credible long-term plan, because everyone understands that a wider regional war could trigger a global economic collapse.

Over the past 24 hours, we watched the world effectively close ranks around Trump and pressure him against further escalation.

At the European Political Community summit in Yerevan, Armenia, you saw leaders from across Europe standing together with Zelenskyy and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney. At the same time, Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing. Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov was on the phone with Marco Rubio.

Different alliances. Different interests. But the same message from all directions: no more escalation. And Trump backed down.

You know, I’ve always respected the phrase: speak softly and carry a big stick. The strength of America was never supposed to come from reckless bluster or performative threats. It came from quiet confidence and the understanding that when America made commitments, it followed through. America said what it meant and meant what it said.

But Donald Trump, a man who ran business after business into the ground, has now hijacked the United States and treated it like one of his failed companies. And we’re watching the consequences play out in real time.

For decades, America’s global leadership created trust and stability. That kind of influence doesn’t collapse overnight because it was built over generations. But Trump has weakened it dramatically in less than two years. And the bigger problem is what comes next.

Just like in 2020, Trump is likely going to hand off a massive global mess to whoever comes after him. Even if a future administration is competent and responsible, many countries are now going to view the United States as unstable because, in the back of their minds, America is always just one election away from falling back into this chaos again. That changes the world permanently.

I think we are watching the acceleration of a far more multipolar world:
China asserting itself more aggressively.
Europe and Canada forming tighter strategic partnerships.
Russia, Iran, North Korea, and China increasingly coordinating together.
And the United States losing leverage it spent 70 years building.

And when you see countries restricting U.S. military access and airspace while Trump panics and reverses course within hours, you see just how easily he gets cornered. He surrounds himself with unserious people. He isn’t strategic. It’s embarrassing to watch.

What’s equally frustrating is the propaganda media trying to frame all of this as some kind of “four-dimensional chess.”

He’s not playing four-dimensional chess.
He’s barely playing checkers.

Anyway, I think our coverage has been spot on. We’ve consistently been ahead of the curve, and we’re going to keep calling this out honestly and directly.

We’re grateful for all of you.
