VOTERS OF MAINE NEED TO DECIDE!
Regarding MAINE'S GOVERNOR:
Across the nation, communities are opposing DATA CENTERS for a multitude of reasons.
MAINE's legislature passed a MORATORIUM that
the Governor vetoed.
Maine has 12 data centers operated by various providers, with the largest being CENTRA, which has a capacity of 3 megawatts. Recently, Maine's legislature passed a moratorium on new data center construction until November 2027 due to concerns over energy costs and environmental impacts
Last week, Graham Platner became the presumptive Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in Maine. I am reaching out today to ask you to help support his campaign. Here’s why:
Graham is a Marine and U.S. Army veteran, an oyster farmer, and someone who knows what it means to work for a living. He’s running for Senate to take on the billionaire class and fight for working people.
He’s exactly the kind of leader we need more of in Washington — and he’s showing what it means for Democrats to run pro-working-class campaigns.
Now he’s up against Susan Collins, who has repeatedly sided with powerful interests over working people. She cast critical votes to cut taxes for billionaires, kick millions off health care, and overturn Roe v. Wade.
Graham is running a different kind of campaign. One where working people have a voice in our economy and our democracy, and it’s not billionaires calling the shots.
Graham can win and help flip the Senate blue. But he’ll need a strong grassroots movement behind him to take on the big money Susan Collins is coming at him with.
