I’m excited to launch this newsletter as a new way to stay connected with you and share updates from across Massachusetts and from our campaign.
Every day, I’m inspired by the energy, ideas, and commitment I see from people in communities across our Commonwealth. Whether it’s fighting to lower costs for families, protecting our environment, standing up for civil rights, or investing in the future of our communities, there is so much important work happening—and I want to make sure you’re part of it.
Through this newsletter, I’ll share updates from the campaign trail, highlight the incredible people and organizations making a difference across Massachusetts, and keep you informed about the issues we’re fighting for together. My goal is simple: to keep you in the loop and make sure you know how you can stay engaged in the work ahead.
This campaign is powered by people like you—people who believe in a more just, more affordable, and more hopeful future for our state and our country. I’m grateful for your support and excited to keep you updated on everything that’s ahead.
Thank you for being part of this movement.

Securing Federal Funding for Massachusetts Senator Markey joined the Massachusetts congressional delegation in securing $124.58 million in federal funding for 116 community projects across the Commonwealth, bringing the total for FY 2026 to more than $221 million for 209 local projects. These investments will support affordable housing, transportation, health care access, education, infrastructure, and small business development—delivering critical resources to communities across Massachusetts.
Taking on Wall Street to Protect Homeownership Senator Markey joined other Senate Democrats in introducing the American Homeownership Act, legislation to crack down on Wall Street and corporate landlords buying up family homes. The bill would end tax breaks for large corporate investors and reinvest those resources into building affordable housing, lowering housing costs, and helping families achieve homeownership—putting homes back into the hands of the people who live in our communities.
Standing Up for Transgender Rights Senator Markey, in partnership with Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal, reintroduced the Transgender Bill of Rights, a landmark resolution to strengthen protections for transgender and nonbinary Americans. The measure reaffirms the federal government’s responsibility to protect access to health care, safety, housing, and economic opportunity while ensuring freedom from discrimination based on gender identity or expression.
Protecting Immigrants’ Right to Due Process Senator Markey introduced the SHIELD Act, legislation to expand access to legal representation for immigrants navigating complex immigration proceedings. The bill would establish a federal grant program to recruit, train, and support immigrant legal defenders, helping ensure that families and children are not forced to face immigration courts alone and that due process rights are protected. |

“Senator Markey has been a longstanding partner for Boston families, standing strong on our values and delivering results by bringing resources and solutions. He is a bold leader on national issues like climate, health care, and economic justice, while also delivering reliable and responsive constituent services for residents every day. I am grateful for our continued partnership and pleased to endorse him for re-election.” |

Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley
“Ed has been a committed partner in our shared fight to advance justice for the people of MA – from treating safe, affordable housing and health care as fundamental human rights, to building an economy that delivers dignity and opportunity for every family. Together, we have worked to confront entrenched inequities and ensure that those too often left out and left behind are centered in our policymaking. I am proud to endorse his re-election.” |
