As we head into the final hours of the year, I wanted to reach out because your support has always helped make real progress possible, and we’re so close to an important goal. More than 50 years ago, Clean Water Action helped write and pass the Clean Water Act. Since then, it’s meant cleaner drinking water, safer beaches, and healthier rivers and lakes for families in communities all across the country. Because of supporters like you, we continued to protect those gains this year. Together, we: Mobilized thousands of public comments to stop rollbacks to clean water protections; Took on toxic PFAS “forever chemicals” and defended Amara’s Law, the strongest PFAS ban in the nation; Helped vulnerable communities access lead water filters, education, and resources when federal funding was cut; and Stood strong against dangerous fossil fuel infrastructure threatening the Great Lakes.
Hundreds of members have already stepped up to get us close to 5,000 gifts by midnight, but we still need your help to cross the finish line!
