Lavish lifestyles for them, bankruptcy and stress for you. And let’s talk about his latest betrayal of America: Trump’s attacks on Ukraine. In his deranged rants, Trump calls the war “Biden’s and Zelensky’s war,” never once mentioning Putin, the actual aggressor. He blames the United States and Ukraine for Russia’s invasion. That’s not just morally bankrupt, but traitorous. No patriotic American would ever frame Putin’s war crimes as Biden’s or Ukraine’s fault. But Trump does. Trump even wrote to Hungarian strongman Viktor Orbán whining that Ukraine struck Russian oil pipelines. He literally told Orbán and Slovakia to keep buying Russian oil. That’s not America First. That’s Putin First. While Europe has, in fact, contributed more to Ukraine’s defense than the U.S., a fact Trump lies about repeatedly, he still has the gall to lecture NATO about “not doing enough.” His goal isn’t to strengthen NATO. It’s to tear it down, because that’s what Putin wants. And when Trump is asked about the assassination of his close ally Charlie Kirk, he doesn’t even have the decency to focus on the loss of life. Instead, he pivots to bragging about building a new ballroom at the White House. Over and over again, “ballroom, ballroom, ballroom.” That’s what Trump thinks about when a political ally is murdered: his vanity projects. Let’s not sugarcoat this. Trump is a disgrace. He’s a grifter who uses taxpayer money for golf outings, a liar who invents phony trade deals, and a traitor who sides with Putin over America. He smears brilliant public servants like Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook with false claims of fraud, all because she dared to stand in his way. And while our economy struggles, he’s importing Russian eggs and running interference for dictators. The contrast couldn’t be starker. Dear Administrator Zeldin,

I urge you not to delay the compliance deadlines for the Legacy Coal Combustion Residuals (CCR) Surface Impoundments and CCR Management Units rule. The rule mandated the closure and cleanup of hundreds of older landfills, legacy ponds, and fill sites that were previously excluded from federal regulations.

At numerous sites, toxic coal ash has been found to leak into and contaminate groundwater and drinking water supplies. This contamination will only worsen unless EPA acts swiftly to require compliance and ensures all coal ash dumps are regulated.

EPA must move quickly to stop the flow of toxic releases from hundreds of leaking coal ash sites and must require effective cleanup of this pollution. Any delays will continue to put nearby communities and the drinking water in which they rely at risk.
