Important Sunday Message

Important Sunday Message

Donald Trump just called for the prosecution of President Obama and other Obama-era officials. This is serious.

Over the past 72 hours, I’ve received hundreds of messages from readers asking the same thing:

“Are they trying to overwhelm us?”

Yes. They are.

The Trump camp is flooding the zone—again. It’s not a theory; it’s a strategy. Steve Bannon said it himself: “Flood the zone with shit.” The goal is to exhaust you. To keep you jumping from headline to headline so you miss what actually matters.

But that’s exactly why I’m here. To slow it down. To filter the noise. To help you see what they don’t want you looking at.

If that kind of journalism matters to you—if you believe in breaking through the noise instead of being buried by it—please consider becoming a paid subscriber today. This newsletter doesn’t run on ad dollars or billionaire donors. It runs on us—this community of readers who still care. And I am here to help you parse through all of the noise and craziness.

Just minutes ago, Donald Trump posted an image of Barack Obama and several Obama-era officials photoshopped into jumpsuits, as if already sentenced to prison. That post came after his own national intelligence chief pick, Tulsi Gabbard, publicly said that Obama should be prosecuted.

May be a Twitter screenshot of 8 people, poster and text that says 'Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump ト 3m ·· HOW DID SAMANTHA POWER M ALL OF THAT MONEY??? SAMANTHA POWER SUSAN RICE VALERIE JARRETT nount JAMES CLAPPER sirtemplemount THE Shady Bunch @sirtemplemount JAMES COMEY JOHN BRENNAN templa m ten BARACK HUSSEIN HUSSEINOBAMA OBAMA sirtemplemount 139 BEN "HAMAS" RHODES irtomple mo unt 439 1.07k'

Let’s be clear: Barack Obama is not going to be prosecuted.

But that’s not the point.

This is Trump signaling what the rest of his second term would look like. It’s not about policy—it’s about revenge. He’s escalating public attacks on political opponents, normalizing the idea that dissent = criminality.

And here’s what’s chilling: unlike a sitting president, we don’t have immunity.

So when he uses his platform to incite, dehumanize, or delegitimize others, it’s not just theater. It’s threat architecture. He’s laying the groundwork now, and the press—as usual—is distracted.

Which brings us to what they don’t want us talking about...

1. The Epstein Files

Donald Trump wants to distract the American public from the fact that he is likely named throughout the Epstein files.

2. ACA Premiums Are Set to Skyrocket

On Friday, we learned that health insurance premiums under the Affordable Care Act may rise as much as 75% next year. Why? Because the new budget bill—signed two weeks ago—didn’t extend key subsidies passed under Biden. Millions could pay the price. But the coverage? Gone in less than 12 hours.

3. Another Government Shutdown Is on the Horizon

A new budget deadline is rapidly approaching. The next big fight in Congress could grind everything to a halt—again. But instead of warning us, too many in the cable news are obsessing over personalities, polls, and palace intrigue.

These aren’t footnotes. They’re front page stories. And that’s why this newsletter exists.

Because if the traditional press won’t prioritize what matters, we will.

So yes—there’s chaos. But there’s also clarity. And that’s what we’re building here, together.

If you're tired of feeling overwhelmed and under-informed…
If you’re sick of misinformation outpacing truth…
If you believe journalism should serve people, not profit...

Then join us. Subscribe. Share. Support this work.

Every subscription keeps this space free from ads and free for anyone who needs it. This isn’t just content—it’s resistance. Every dollar is a stake in a better media ecosystem. One that works for us.

The Washington Post says:

“Democracy Dies in Darkness.”

But let’s be honest:

Democracy dies behind a paywall.

We’re here to change that.

No corporate sponsorships. No algorithm chasing. Just truth, openly shared. Every article is written with one purpose: to reclaim power from the chaos and return it to you.

This is not just one person typing late into the night.

This is a movement. A community. A collective of readers, subscribers, and truth-seekers refusing to be distracted, manipulated, or worn down.

If you’ve felt that same fatigue, that same sense of “something’s not right,” that’s not weakness. It’s awareness.

And if you’ve made it this far—reading, questioning, caring—then you’re already part of it.

So please:
Become a paid subscriber. Share this post. Help us grow.

Because the truth is out there. But it won’t spread itself.

We are tired—but we are not asleep.
We are burnt out—but not broken.
And no matter how loud the noise gets, we will keep telling the truth.

For each other. For what matters. For what comes next.

Thank you for being here.
We’re just getting started.
Let’s build something better—together.
