As a UK citizen I was absolutely horrified when I saw the events in the Oval Office unfold. I felt so much compassion for President Zelensky, who handled himself with dignity. I screamed at the scream “you can’t speak to a diplomatic guest like that” when Vance made his sickening attack and then when Trump laid in as well, my heart sank as I realised that not only had the friendship and having each other’s backs, that for 80 years has been the way we as allies have behaved to make sure there is no repeat of a World War, had just been thrown in the trash can, but also he had televised this to the world giving Russia, also China, North Korea and the Middleman East, telling them that that the protection of the World is no longer a wall of friendship and resources Thank you for your channel, because, as you can imagine, we are NOT getting the correct picture from our MSM. Yes, the reaction of our allies to President Zelensky was reported on but there have been programmes that seem to be condoning what had happened and about our alliance. I was brought up by parents who were children during the war and it was instilled in me how grateful we were when the US joined the fight to help overcome Hitler and how Americans were our true friends. This friendship has been strengthened when we have supplied military assistance in Iraq, Afghanistan etc and I am pretty sure we didn’t bill the US for such military support. I am 74, physically unable to work. I live in a hud high rise. I am afraid. But, i am a fighter. I do not blame Canada for their stance. Rump is the agressor. I live in Michigan. I can deal with the cut of electricity. The only downfall for our our senior building is we wont be able to cook. No grills allowed. So we will have to figure out what we can buy to eat.
