Great News For Us, Bad News For Musk and Trump

Great News For Us, Bad News For Musk and Trump

Onward!

After another week of the Musk and Trump dumpster fire burning across America, I’m pleased to be able to deliver more good news to you today. I hope it gives you some sense of relief, as it has for me.

Elon’s failures keep stacking up. Facing constant protests, the company's stock plummeted 33% in the past month, and just yesterday a recall was announced on nearly all of his Cybertruck vehicles. It’s Tesla’s third recall of 2025.

Our awesome supporter, Madeleine Wiley, said she joined more than 300 other people for a protest outside of Musk’s SpaceX and Starlink buildings in Redmond, WA. Wiley said: “We all had signs and lined the road during traffic hours … so many people out fighting Elon Musk!”

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Bernie Sanders launched their joint “Fighting Oligarchy” tour on Thursday. They held rallies with thousands of people in both Tempe, AZ, and Las Vegas, NV.

AOC brought the fire, saying: “What they like to call as radical, I believe is common sense … when a person gets sick, they shouldn’t go bankrupt … a minimum wage should cover the minimum cost to live … homes are not slot machines for investors and Wall Street to extort working families out of every last dollar that they have.”

Sanders said: “While I am not a mathematician, I do know that 99% is a hell of a lot bigger number than 1% … if we do not let Trump and his friends divide us up by the color of our skin, or where we were born, or our religion, or our sexual orientation—if we stand together as one people fighting for justice, there is nothing that we cannot do.”

There was an empty-seat town hall held in GOP Rep. Scott Perry’s district in PA on Tuesday. Sue Gordon, a mom of a fired federal worker, said her son “saved everyone in here thousands of tax dollars, and his evaluation was the top.” Gordon also said: “I am furious. Furious. Where is Scott Perry?” The crowd then started loudly chanting just that: “Where is Scott Perry!”

Kansas GOP Sen. Roger Marshall decided to host what he called a “town hall” this week. In reality, it was 20 select people gathered in the basement of a courthouse, while protesters stood outside holding signs that read: “Do Better.”

Christy Davis, who was one of the attendees, said: “I witnessed something unexpected: even this hand-picked audience did not refrain from sharing legitimate concerns and asking pointed questions.” Davis stated: “In the words of one of yesterday’s protesters, ‘No one voted for Elon.’ Kansans deserve more than a senator who fails to stand up to those who aim to destroy our federal government.”

GOP Sen. Chuck Grassley held a town hall in Iowa, without even listing it publicly on his website. The room of roughly 100 attendees laughed loudly when Grassley lied, saying: “Musk has no power.” Grassley actually admitted that a “lot of people are mad about what’s going on in the Trump administration.”

Dem Rep. Al Green spoke to a crowd at the entrance of NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston this week, where demonstrators gathered to protest the mass firings of federal workers. Green said: “You just can't decide you're going to fire everybody under the guise of cutting ... so that you give money to your rich friends.”

The Defense Dept. has restored a webpage about legendary baseball player Jackie Robinson’s time in the Army, following a massive public outcry. Included was an account of the time Robinson got on an Army bus, and “the driver ordered Robinson to move to the back … Robinson refused.” The Trump regime wanted this act of peaceful defiance scrubbed from the history books, but public pressure stopped that from happening.

Retired federal Judge J. Michael Luttig—who is also a conservative—slammed Trump for declaring “war on the rule of law in America.” Luttig continued, saying: “The constitutional role of the president is to faithfully execute the laws. Needless to say, the president is doing anything but that in the moment.”

Judge Luttig hit the nail on the head. Trump is not faithfully executing his duties. That’s why we must push back against this administration at a constant, and continue to build up our movement.
