A government loophole has allowed pesticide giants to sell these toxic seeds without regulation for so long that they now blanket 150 million acres of US farmland, polluting our soil, air, and water and causing mass bee die-offs.
As a plant grows from a pesticide coated seed, the neonics travel up its circulatory system and into its leaves, pollen, and nectar. Pollinators then ingest the poison, causing paralysis or even death. But the vast majority of the pesticide coating actually comes off the seed after planting, contaminating our earth.
Lack of regulation has meant that use has skyrocketed, which is why pesticide giants have thrown their massive resources into the case to try to beat us in court and ensure that they can continue selling this poison unhindered.
We’ve just filed an appeal in the latest stage of the case, but it’s a long road ahead and we need your support more than ever — can you urgently rush a donation so that we can give this case the resources we need to WIN?
If you've saved payment information to your FastAction profile, your donation will go through as soon as you click on a link.
