Fox Attacks Meidas with New Tactic… We NEED to Respond! Brett Meiselas Jan 16 I’ll keep this short. By now, I’m sure you’ve been following how Fox “News” hosts have been attacking us and my interview with President Biden. In their corporate meetings, Fox executives have reportedly been posting the MeidasTouch Network and Fox News digital ratings side-by-side. Fox executives then excoriate their digital team for getting fewer views than us. “We have billion-dollar budgets, how the f*ck are we losing to these guys?” they’d say. Shoutout to my sources at Fox. For many days in 2025, the MeidasTouch Network received more views and engagement than Fox. We were ranked number 1 on the Playboard charts, while Fox was number 2. I’ve heard so many stories about how pissed off this made Fox host Jesse Watters, whose mom is a big MeidasTouch Network fan. She may or may not be a subscriber to this Substack. Hi, Anne. Unfortunately, Fox has developed a strategy to finally beat us in the YouTube ratings, and it really pisses me off. Here’s what they did: Fox has gone all-in on its lies about the Los Angeles fire. The more they lie about Governor Newsom and Democrats in connection with the fires, the more views they get. As someone who was forced to evacuate from Los Angeles, I find their coverage particularly abhorrent. Now, Fox has taken the number 1 spot on the charts, and we are number 2. The Fox executives were celebrating their win earlier today. Ughhh. It makes me livid that they surpassed us by lying about the fire. They are laughing at us. I think it’s so sick, twisted, and depraved. Here are the latest rankings: We need to respond powerfully to Fox. Look, even though being ranked number 2 out of every YouTube channel in America is a great accomplishment, we can’t allow Fox to gloat over surpassing us. We are going to have to work tougher, smarter, and harder. We’re going to need more top interviews to follow up on my interview with President Biden. I’ve got a few special guests lined up that I know will make a huge impact. We also need to increase our reach both in the United States and internationally. Yesterday was the first day we fell below our subscriber goal since early January. I know that if we’re going to continue to compete with Fox and eventually take back the top position on the charts, we have to keep growing.
