According to CNN, “Israel’s cabinet has approved the Israel-Hamas ceasefire and hostage release deal, according to the prime minister’s office, following hours of deliberation.” Great. But did the IDF really need to kill over 100 people in Gaza after the announcement of the deal? Did they need to continue bombing Gaza after Netanhayu delayed the vote? It’s good that the deal is through. It’s good that hostages are being released. Read CNN’s latest here. Supreme Court upholds Tik Tok ban… The Associated Press reports, “The Supreme Court on Friday unanimously upheld the federal law banning TikTok beginning Sunday unless it’s sold by its China-based parent company, holding that the risk to national security posed by its ties to China overcomes concerns about limiting speech by the app or its 170 million users in the United States.” The decision was expected to come down in favor of the U.S. government after justices were unsympathetic to Tik Tok’s First Amendment claims. Count this as one of the rare times Donald Trump’s handpicked bought-and-paid-for Supreme Court did NOT do his bidding. It’s too cold for Trump’s little hands to be outside Monday… The inauguration of the President of the United States at the U.S. Capitol is an American tradition. Remember Trump’s tiny crowd that Sean Spicer bogusly called the largest for an inauguration in American history? LOL. Well, Donald is apparently not taking any chances this time around. What a wimp. If he’s going to hold the inauguration indoors, he might as well just hold it at Mar-A-Lago. Ohio Lt. Governor Jon Husted to replace JD Vance in U.S. Senate… In case anyone forgot, JD Vance, the guy who mocked “childless cat ladies” and said that people without children do not have a stake in the future of this country, is going to become Vice President of the United States on Monday. That means Ohio gets a new Senator, and the appointment was made today by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, who is no Donald Trump crony. DeWine picked his Lt. Governor, Jon Husted, to fill the remainder of Vance’s term. The national media touted Elon Musk bestie Vivek Ramaswamy as a top contender and put Ramaswamy’s name in today’s headlines. The DC rags apparently forgot to call the Buckeye State for verification, because the guy was never in consideration. Rest assured he gets to keep his fake job working for Trump. Today’s Buzz Snoop Dogg draws ire for pre-Inauguration event performance… By his own words last year, Snoop Dogg “has nothing but love and respect,” for Donald Trump. He can now add “support” to that quote. Folks aren’t happy about his Crypto Ball appearance tonight. He’s not a political guy as far as the entertainment industry goes. did not campaign for Trump nor Vice President Harris in last year’s election, but now it seems he has picked sides.
