As a retired RN I beg you all to please get your vaccines updated if you can. Please vaccinate your children because you don't want to see them with whooping cough, RSV, covid, polio, or any disease.

Our area just went whooping cough - it's no joke. Horrible.

My brother had whooping cough as a baby, and I'm sure it took a toll on him. Ironically, he's now a vaccine "skeptic". I, however, am not.

I’m a RN too. Have been telling everyone I possibly can to update / booster their & their children’s vaccines now. Last thing we need is MMR, Polio, Small pox, Tetanus & etc. on the rise again & secondary results like rheumatic fever & heart disease & disability & or death from polio because not vaccinating & boostering their kids. Life longevity is directly related to safe vaccines & antibiotics developed by science. I keep mine up plus got updated pneumonia, shingles, tetanus, flu & updated Covid vaccines. I don’t want any of it. Had chicken pox twice, at 2 & again at 16 which was hell. Last thing I want is shingles.

I'm a Boomer, so remember polio, as well many other brutal diseases. It was awful, so I'm not anxious for any of these catastrophic viruses to return, either!

Several suggested BOYCOTTING the Inauguration - how about doing something in your community? Volunteering for MEALS ON WHEELS? Volunteering in a FOOD PANTRY? Contacting your local Council on Aging & finding out if there's someone in need, maybe an elderly person with no family? Let's make the DAY stand for something POSITIVE!
