Tell Congress: We deserve the FULL truth about Matt Gaetz >>
Tomorrow, the House Ethics Committee may decide if it will release the results of its investigation into former Representative and announced Attorney General nominee Matt Gaetz’s alleged wrongdoings – or instead help Gaetz and President-elect Trump cover up the truth.
I’m sure you agree the choice is clear: the public deserves to know the full truth about the man who wants to be our next Attorney General.
Gaetz has been credibly accused of serious offenses – including misuse of campaign funds, illicit drug use, and sexual misconduct – and what’s been publicized so far is extremely troubling. [1]
That’s why Senators of both parties are demanding to know the whole truth before they even begin considering Gaetz for our nation’s highest law enforcement role. [1]
Sign the Petition: We can’t tolerate this cover-up. Tell the House Ethics Committee to release the full results of its investigation into Matt Gaetz.
The stakes couldn’t be higher.
As Attorney General, Matt Gaetz would wield immense power over our nation’s justice system. It's one of the executive branch’s most important roles – overseeing the Department of Justice, upholding the rule of law, and enforcing civil and voting rights protections.
Gaetz has a long track record of supporting insurrectionists, [2] pushing anti-voter legislation, [3] and embracing racist conspiracy theories. [4] And that’s just what we already know.
How can the Senate – or the American people – make an informed decision about his fitness for this critical role without getting all of the facts about the allegations against Gaetz?
The public deserves complete transparency from our public officials, and we cannot afford to let this investigation be swept under the rug.
If you agree the Ethics Committee must put country before party and release the full truth about Matt Gaetz, add your name today >>
Together, let’s send a clear message: we will not accept silence or cover-ups, especially when it comes to one of the most important positions in our government.
Thanks for all you do,
