Law and the 2024 election: a live conversation

The Substack Election Dialogues

Next Wednesday, October 16, I’ll be joined by Judd Legum, the author of Popular Information here on Substack for a live conversation about the intersection of law and politics and the 2024 election. You’re all invited to attend!

In the run-up to the 2024 U.S. presidential election, the Substack Election Dialogues are bringing together influential political figures, writers, and commentators for live video conversations, confronting the most consequential questions of the political moment.

What does this live conversation mean for you? It means you’ll get to watch Judd and me in conversation, and, if the technology Gods are good to us, even send us questions to answer. To participate, you’ll need to download the Substack app, so go ahead and do it now so you’ll be able to join the conversation. This is for everyone, whether you have a paid subscription or not.

Judd, who is also a lawyer, writes fascinating and important columns on issues like his recent piece on the risk that insurance companies will stiff victims of Hurricane Milton. He wrote a piece last week about the insanity of the Florida Department of Health trying to keep ads about abortion off of the air ahead of the vote on amending Florida’s constitution to protect abortion rights. We are going to have a lot to talk about and we’re really looking forward to it!

How can you tune in? Click here to download the Substack app. If you enable notifications, the app will notify you when I’m live. Just tap that, and you’re in. It’s that easy! Looking forward to seeing y’all Wednesday night.

We’re in this together,

Joyce
