When it comes to gun violence, my opponent could not be more extreme. But in this case, being extreme is doing NOTHING. Because that's the way his NRA backers want it.

Look, I firmly believe in gun ownership rights.

All I'm asking for is a real conversation backed by the facts, and the development and testing of policy to see what works to reduce gun violence. I'm reasonable on this issue, but I want action. My opponent won't even talk about it.
