House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., spoke at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago on Wednesday, a night focused on fighting “for our freedoms,” from democracy to reproductive rights and more. "Donald Trump is like an old boyfriend who you broke up with but he just won't go away," Jeffries said. "He has spent the last four years spinning the block, trying to get back into a relationship with the American people. Bro, we broke up with you for a reason." Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz will also formally accept the vice presidential nomination, a day before Vice President Kamala Harris takes the stage as the official nominee.
