Why you won’t hear about Project 2025 at the Republican Convention CORPORATE MEDIA IS NOT REPORTING THIS!

Courier

We’re officially two days into the Republican National Convention. As expected, speakers have spent very little time talking about policy. Instead, it’s all about lavishing praise on Donald Trump and repeating his empty slogans. Even former rivals Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis offered wholehearted endorsements.

The lack of policy talk is conspicuous because, in recent days, there’s been a massive backlash to right-wing think tank the Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025, an extreme right-wing policy agenda to remake America into a MAGA country.

Hilariously, of course, Donald Trump has denied any knowledge of Project 2025, even though CNN found nearly 240 people with ties to both Project 2025 and the Trump campaign.

Oh yeah, and the Heritage Foundation is one of the RNC Convention sponsors…

We’ll talk more about Project 2025 in a moment, but if you’re ready to help COURIER expose the radical Republican agenda, can you chip in $5.00 now?

As a reminder, Project 2025 is a detailed 900-page plan for the next Republican president of the United States that would usher in an era of Christian Nationalism.

The plan is full of detailed far-right policies, including:

  • Banning birth control and abortion nationwide (the word abortion appears 190 times in the plan)
  • Defunding and disbanding the EPA and the Department of Education
  • Abolishing anti-discrimination protections for LGBTQ+ individuals and ending diversity, equity, and inclusion programs
  • Firing civil servants and replacing them with political appointees

A convention would provide the perfect opportunity to sell the policy agenda to voters.

Yet publicly, Republicans, including Trump himself, keep distancing themselves from the plan, acting like they’ve never heard of it.

Why? Because these policy plans are extreme right-wing fantasies that an overwhelming majority of Americans would never support. Donald Trump and Republicans know that if they ditched the slogans and talked about what they’re actually planning to do during a Trump presidency, voters would immediately turn against them.

At COURIER, our eleven swing state newsroom teams work 24/7 to expose right-wing policies like Project 2025. We believe voters urgently need to hear the truth before they go out and vote this year.

Our reporters work around the clock in our eleven battleground states to publish essential coverage on the issues that matter most, including exposing a radical right-wing plan like Project 2025. If you support our mission, can you chip in $5.00 to keep our newsrooms running?
