A lot has happened at the RNC so far this week. So let me give you a quick rundown.

FIRST: Trump announced his Vice President pick, J.D. Vance, an anti-abortion extremist who is in favor of a full abortion ban with no exceptions and even voted against IVF protections.

THEN: It was reported that billionaire Elon Musk, the richest person in the world, plans to donate $45 million a month to a Trump campaign super PAC.

NOW: Vance is set to address the RNC tonight. Trump tomorrow. And anything — ANYTHING — could happen when they do. Trump’s already attacked me directly recently. It’s anyone’s guess what comes next.

None of this news is great. But here’s what this means for us:

We could be the seat that stands to stop a MAGA-controlled government.

If Trump wins this November, J.D. Vance will be the deciding vote in a 50-50 Senate. A Democratic House majority would be the only way to stop extremist anti-abortion bills from being passed by MAGA Republicans.

This is a big deal. And since Trump is going to get a large influx of money not only to win his race but to support other MAGA candidates, including my opponent, this makes our race even more critical.
