I'm writing to you from the Midwest, where our rescue team is working with National Mill Dog Rescue to transport dozens of dogs and puppies from commercial breeding facilities. I can tell they're relieved to be out of cages, but their spirits are very low, and many will need medical attention.
Many of the dogs we rescue from commercial breeding facilities have never been held by a human, or felt grass under their paws – and all are in rough shape. They are confused and scared, and it will take time for them to trust us.
As soon as we arrive back on campus, every rescue will receive an assessment from our team of veterinarians and behaviorists. They'll have a good meal and sleep in a warm bed for the first time… they'll begin to know love, thanks to friends like you.
When a puppy is born in a commercial breeding facility, his world is very scary and very small. Friends like you open the door to a loving family, endless playtime, and lots of tail wagging, so thank you for giving them all a second chance at happiness!

P.S. When dogs and puppies are involved in this kind of rescue, I know they're going to need the full rundown of medical care, from vaccinations and heartworm meds to surgeries. Your compassion makes that possible. Please send an urgent gift for our newest rescues today.
