New charges in Sen. Menendez corruption case

 



Federal prosecutors filed a new superseding indictment on Tuesday in their corruption case against U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ), his wife Nadine Menendez, and the three businessmen Fred Daibes, Wael Hana and Jose Uribe. The 66-page new filing features 14 new charges -- 12 of which apply to Menendez -- and dramatically expands on the four existing charges that were in the original indictment.
