But right now, it buys food and other products from corporations that are polluting our communities and destroying the planet with greenhouse gas emissions, creating a MASSIVE CARBON FOOTPRINT from the federal government. New proposed rules would leverage the federal government’s purchasing power to promote sustainable products and meet climate goals.
