Absentee ballots available for Middleboro town election
MIDDLEBORO — Absentee ballots for the Annual Town Election on Saturday, April 6 are available at the Town Clerk’s Office.
Absentee ballots are available for registered voters who will be unable to vote at the polls on Election Day due to absence from town during normal polling hours, physical disability preventing them from going to the polling place or religious belief.
Registered voters must fill out an application which will allow them to complete an absentee ballot at the Town Clerk’s Office or have one emailed to them. The deadline to apply to have a ballot mailed is Monday, April 1 at 5 p.m.
The deadline to absentee vote in person is Friday, April 5 at noon. Completed ballots must be returned to the Town Clerk’s Office by the close of polls on Election Day.
Middleboro has opted out of the vote by mail process for the Annual Town Election. If you have returned a vote by mail application or postcard indicating that you would like to receive mailed ballots for all 2024 elections, you will not receive a mailed ballot for the April 6 town election. You will receive a mailed ballot for all state and federal elections.
