Kari Lake is being sued for defamation by an election official in the state of Arizona, and she appears to admit in a recent court filing that she did, in fact, lie about what the man did. But Lake swears that her lies are protected by the First Amendment, even though slander/libel/defamation are clearly NOT protected forms of speech. Lake is now in a position where it is almost impossible for her to win this case, as Farron Cousins explains.
