In an abuse of the mission of the Department of Justice, former Attorney General Bill Barr ordered an investigation into the decision to open the Trump- Russia probe. This "investigate-the-investigators" idiocy was headed up by special counsel John Durham. Durham has thus far brought two prosecution, alleging two individuals lied to the FBI. The first prosecution failed, resulting in a not guilty verdict, and prompted a scathing rebuke by one of the jurors who said the jury's time "could have been better spent." Today, the second case also went down in flames, resulting in a prompt not guilty verdict. It probably qualifies as irony that the Durham investigating, which Barr initiated in what looks like an attempt to protect a criminal president, has distinguished itself as a . . . which hunt.
