We can protect our Democracy

 

Working Texans deserve an inclusive democracy that respects the right to vote. But, our democracy is under attack, especially here in Texas. Here is just one of the latest headlines: Let’s be clear: no one should be threatened simply for helping others participate in the democratic process.   As long as right-wing extremists refuse to honor election results, suppress our voting rights, and spread false propaganda, our very democracy remains under threat.    That is why when Greg is in Congress, he’ll work with other progressives to pass federal legislation to build a truly inclusive and fair democracy in Texas. Our team relies on small dollar donations from engaged supporters like you. Will you chip in what you can to help us continue to drive strong voter turnout across the district on Election Day? CHIP IN NOW Greg has a history of fighting for better access to voting in Texas. He worked to successfully double the number of voters in his city council district from 2014 to 2020. He also pushed for more voting locations in underserved areas, and successfully worked to change the law to allow more voters to participate in local elections.    In Congress, Greg has pledged to support federal legislation like the For the People Act and John Lewis Voting Rights Act, along with automatic voter registration.
