South Carolina Supreme Court temporarily blocks six-week abortion ban
The ruling, while not permanent, is a welcome victory given the relentless right-wing assault on reproductive rights in America. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic and Greenville Women's Clinic, as well as two individual providers, filed their lawsuit on July 13, alleging that the six-week prohibition on abortions clearly violates several clauses of South Carolina's constitution.
