Earlier this week, Rand Paul voted on the Honoring Our PACT Act because he believes veterans cannot “prove” they developed health issues while serving in combat.
By voting no on a bill meant to provide health care benefits to veterans exposed to toxins while in the line of duty, Rand Paul continues to betray veterans and their families across our Commonwealth and our country.
This is personal to me. I’ve had family members serve in every branch of the U.S. Military. Both my grandfathers and my dad are veterans. Rand Paul’s actions today are a complete slap in the face to them, and every veteran that has served our country.
Rand Paul cannot keep getting away with disrespecting the service of our nation’s veterans. He is not fit for the office he occupies, and together we must defeat him. Please chip in anything you can today to help me retire him.
It's pretty clear who Rand stands with, and it’s not with our nation’s veterans or with the people of Kentucky — it’s with his own self-interest and billionaire donors.
Rand Paul’s actions are shameful, but we don’t have to accept his selfish, failed leadership any longer.
