ACTION ALERT! Greenpeace USA just flew our airship by PepsiCo’s HQ to demand Pepsi take action on plastic pollution.

Tweet Now! Tell Pepsi to commit to 50% reuse and refill donation right now!

🚨 🚨 BIG NEWS: We just flew our thermal airship by Pepsi’s headquarters in Purchase, NY, to demand the big plastic polluting giant ditch plastic and commit to 50% reuse and refill by 2030!

Pepsi vs Coca-Cola: Who will lead on reuse and refill?

Help amplify our action! Tweet at Pepsi’s CEO NOW to commit to 50% reusable packaging by 2030!

Tweet Now!

In response to Coca-Cola's March announcement of transitioning to “at least 25% reusable packaging by 2030," Pepsi pledged to announce its reusable goals later this year.1 However, we are still waiting … and since Pepsi currently has zero reuse and refill commitments, Coke is technically winning.

That’s why this Plastic Free July, we’ve challenged Pepsi and Coke to a #RefillChallenge! And today, we are turning up the competition by bringing our demands to Pepsi’s doorstep to demand action on reuse and refill. Pepsi has the opportunity to best its cola rival in sustainability by doing more than Coke!

Tweet at Pepsi to accept the challenge and commit to 50% reuse and refill for our oceans and community!

This challenge is so important because action on reuse and refill cannot wait! Plastic pollution villains, like Coca-Cola and PepsiCo, are helping to drive the plastic and climate crisis that is destroying our oceans and disproportionately harming Black, Brown, Indigenous, and Frontline communities living near petrochemical facilities and in extraction zones.

Join us in hijacking Twitter this week to show Pepsi’s CEO that we are waiting for the soda giant to announce its reuse and refill commitment! Tweet at Pepsi to commit to 50% reuse and refill by 2030!

To a transformational reuse and refill future,

Lisa Ramsden
Senior Plastics Campaigner, Greenpeace USA

P.S. Don’t have Twitter? Send a message to Coke and Pepsi urging them to lead on reuse and refill!
