Cheesesteak photoshoot

 

How do I know my Republican opponent, Dr. Oz, is NOT ACTUALLY FROM PENNSYLVANIA??? 🤔🤔

It would have to be the fact that he recently stopped by Geno’s, aka one of South Philly’s most famous + touristy cheesesteak joints, for a bizarre cheesesteak photoshoot. 

Ah yes, the trip to Geno's — a rite of passage for every tourist. 😂

Even Geno’s rival cheesesteak establishment, Pat’s King of Steaks, joined in on the trolling on Twitter. 👇

Because nothing says “I’m not from here” than choosing a cheesesteak joint that serves more tourists than actual Pennsylvanians. 

And look, I mean no disrespect to Geno’s, which I’m sure serves up a delicious cheesesteak.

But REAL Pennsylvanians know you’re probably better off going to Dalessandro’s or John’s Roast Pork to get your fix.

Now, I know what you may be thinking now. “John, come on, it’s just a cheesesteak.” 🙄

Sadly, this isn’t *just* about cheesesteaks.

This is about choosing a Senator who understands + will fight for real Pennsylvanians, instead of a celebrity doctor making a mere pit stop at a tourist trap like Geno’s.

I have lived in + fought for Pennsylvania my whole life. And now I’m running for U.S. Senate to fight as hard for PA families as I fight for my own.
