Rare foxes in desperate struggle for survival (your urgent response needed!)
The peaceful and solitary Sierra Nevada red fox is dangerously close to extinction. Their population has been so decimated by relentless trapping, poisoning, and habitat destruction that experts estimate that as few as 15 of this rare subspecies remain in the wild!
Even more, as the climate crisis escalates, these vulnerable creatures face a growing number of merciless wildfires. Their territory is now so small – and the wildfires so frequent – that escaping to safety could soon be an impossible challenge. Last year, a 1-million acre fire blazed through the foxes’ territory – and now scientists fear that precious fox pups may have been lost to the flames.
No species can survive without a safe habitat to raise the next generation. That’s why the last remaining foxes need YOU to speak up for them today.
Should we protect the last 15 Sierra Nevada red foxes from EXTINCTION?
