the real reward is taking action to make a better world, but we want to share these fun items as a way of thanks. Plus, who doesn’t love stickers and a comfy shirt to proclaim our political revolution is ascendant?
BECOME A MEMBER & INVEST IN CHANGE!★ ★ ★★ ★ ★BIG NEWS! Bernie has officially endorsed
Nina Turner for Congress in Ohio’s 11th — and
early voting is already underway! We have just
two weeks to
GOTV ahead of the May 3rd voting deadline and bring home this win!
A crypto billionaire from Silicon Valley just spent
$1 Million trying to buy the seat for Nina’s opponent and dark money is pouring in, but
Our Revolution and
Team Turner have been organizing in the field from day one!
“The community should choose the leaders, not people who don’t care about your livelihood,” Nina said in a
Live Campaign Update on Thursday. “
We’re building on the deep work we’ve done, and the energy on the ground is palpable!”
She continued: “
Freedom-fighting progressive movement: We have a decision to make. Are we going to fight like hell or are we going to roll over?
I say we’re not ever rolling over. We’re pushing.”
SIGN UP to volunteer your time or treasure to send Nina to Washington! The absentee registration deadline is April 30, so if you’re in
Greater Cleveland make your plan right now to vote!As Bernie said: “
Nina knows the job is more than just voting the right way. It's about leadership.”
SEND NINA TO WASHINGTON★ ★ ★US Rep.
Andy Levin is one of our best and most formidable allies in Congress, and
Our Revolution is going all-out to make sure he beats the establishment to win re-election in Michigan!
Redistricting means Andy faces a tough race against conservative ‘New Dem’
Haley Stevens, running in the 11th District where Andy has lived for decades. She opposes
Medicare for All, whereas Andy is an original cosponsor of its legislation — as well as the Green New Deal and the Progressive Caucus bill to lower prescription drug costs.
The choice is clear. He worked for years as a
union organizer and is one of the greatest advocates for workers in the House. Andy’s a lead cosponsor of
the PRO Act and he led a congressional
delegation to join Amazon workers organizing in Bessemer, Ala.
Our progressive movement is at a strategic juncture, and we need Andy in office to keep advancing these fights.
“I’m kind of an
inside-outside organizer in Congress, I guess you could say,” Andy said on our
National Organizing Call Monday. “
My job in Congress is to build a multiracial working-class coalition of people to take power and transform it so it actually serves us.”
“
What is the next Congress going to be?” he asked. “Are we going to
fight like hell for real change for the people from the bottom up or are we going to let corporate leaders decide the agenda?
I say hell no, we’re going to fight for the working class and that’s what’s at stake in this election.”
A proud member of
Our Revolution, Rep. Levin brings a personal passion to this work. “I’m a two-time cancer survivor, so I’m very well aware that we’re here on this earth for one precious moment, and
we’ve got to make the change we can while we’re here,” Andy said.
Election Day is August 2nd! If you’re in Michigan, Click
HERE to request an absentee ballot! It’s the easiest way to participate in this crucial primary election.
The corporate establishment is going after Andy because they know he’s one of our strongest fighters.
Volunteer now to make sure we keep this a dedicated organizer in Congress. Whether making calls or knocking on doors, there’s something each of us can do to have Andy’s back.
STEP UP FOR ANDY★ ★ ★We’re thrilled to endorse
David Segal for Congress in RI-2! A proud member of
Our Revolution, David has worked with us for years as he’s built broad and effective coalitions to fight monopoly power, advance democratic reforms, and more.
On Providence City Council and as a State Representative,
David delivered results on housing, civil rights and liberties; local services, school funding; and guarding people and small businesses against abuses by corporate predators.
His commitment to
fighting corporate power and expanding economic opportunities is underscored by his many years of powerful advocacy work.
In Congress, David will add
a strategic voice to empowering our progressive bloc. He’s a sincere partner in the fight for a living wage, Medicare for All, renewable energy transition, a jobs guarantee, and more.
“We need leaders who understand how to
mobilize people on the outside and organize to leverage power on the inside,” David said on our
National Organizing Call Monday. “People need to be able to trust that when those in government say they care, they’re actually going to do something about it.”
Voting Day is Sept. 13 for the Rhode Island Democratic primary. We need all-hands-on-deck to ramp up our ground game and give David the decisive edge in this critical race. Let’s get to work.
Volunteer to elect David Segal to Congress!★ ★ ★Our Revolution is proud to stand with
Annette Johnson for reelection to Pike Township Trustee in Indianapolis!
This might not seem like a big race, but
Annette oversees a $30 million budget, and she’s a great example of how we can shore up progressive power at every level of government.
Annette raised the minimum wage for Pike Township employees to $15 and fought hard to
save local control of the fire department. She has nearly doubled the number of African American firefighters in the department, and
she appointed the first black fire chief.
Despite her being a
strong advocate for civil rights and environmental justice with a
record of good governance and leadership, establishment Democrats rigged the county Party endorsement against Annette in this primary.
“
I am the incumbent, but my Party endorsed my opponent. It’s like David-and-Goliath — but we did it four years ago, and we’ll do it again. We’re in the community, and we work alongside the grassroots,” she told us on our live
National Organizing Call on Monday.
Annette beat the establishment in 2018 when she defeated a 16-year incumbent, and
we’re waging the fight for a repeat performance!

Brian Benjamin - the primary opponent of
Our Revolution-endorsed
Ana María Archila - resigned this week and surrendered himself to the FBI following charges of bribery and campaign finance fraud,
NYT reports.
Our Revolution-NYPAN joined organizers and officials for a
press conference Thursday,
calling for the election of Ana María and her running mate
Jumaane Williams to root out political corruption in New York.
Benjamin allegedly diverted public money meant for public schools and libraries to his big real-estate donors.
This is exactly why we need the transparent, progressive leadership of Ana María and Jumaane, who will organize with and work side-by-side with New Yorkers.
★ ★ ★★ ★ ★WINNING AGAINST AMAZON
Amazon Labor Union organizer
Justine Medina joined our
Live National Broadcast on Monday to talk about their historic grassroots win in Staten Island — and their second unionizing push at the LDJ5 warehouse.
“At ALU, we’re committed to having the union run by the rank-and-file,” Justine told us. “
Don’t be afraid to fight and match the energy the boss is bringing.”
Workers at
more than 200 US-based Amazon facilities have contacted the ALU organizers about unionizing their workplace, and a second vote for the
LDJ5 facility is set for April 25th.
Justine said
Amazon’s heavy-handed union-busting tactics are backfiring. “Some organizers at LDJ5 are being harassed, and a lot of workers on the fence are swayed by that because they see it’s unfair.”
Meanwhile,
Starbucks workers continue their streak of union election wins, adding shops in Pittsburgh, Boston, and Eugene, Ore. in the past few days. And unionizing baristas at two Seattle cafes went on strike Friday. CEO
Howard Schultz needs to accept that
Starbucks workers want to unionize — and it’s their right to do so!Also this week,
Jennifer Abruzzo, chief counsel of the National Labor Relations Board, is moving to
ban captive audience meetings. This would be huge and a major blow to the union-busting strategies of Starbucks and Amazon.
★ ★ ★★ ★ ★OUR REVOLUTION VS. INSURRECTIONISTSOur Revolution and our partners at
Free Speech For People continue to expand our campaign to keep insurrectionists off the ballot.
So far, our members are taking on US Reps. Marjorie Tayor-Greene in Georgia and Madison Cawthorn in North Carolina, and recently filed legal challenges against the candidacies of US Reps. Paul Gosar and Andy Biggs, as well as State Rep. Mark Finchem in Arizona.Additionally, our members have asked secretaries of state to investigate whether Matt Gaetz in Florida, Jim Jordan in Ohio, Doug Mastriano in Pennsylvania, and Dan Cox in Maryland should be eligible for the ballot in 2022.All of them have gone above and beyond to aid those who attacked the Capitol on January 6th and
The Constitution disqualifies them from holding future office. We’re expecting big news on this front in the coming week, so stay tuned to
