The American Rescue Act saved lives -- and the GOP doesn’t want you to know

 

We have a simple and straightforward message for voters in 2022: If we elect Democrats, life will get better for the American people. If we elect Republicans, it will certainly get worse.   The latest proof? The two most recent rounds of stimulus checks totaling $2,000 delivered massive relief for Americans. Following the delivery of the checks, there was a 42% decline in food shortages, a 43% decline in financial instability, and a 20% decline in anxiety and depression across the country.   That is a huge victory for people who are struggling with joblessness and other financial issues in the wake of the COVID pandemic. Democrats told voters that help was on the way -- and they delivered.   On the flip side, not a single Republican voted to pass the American Rescue Act, which included the $1,400 stimulus checks as well as a host of other measures that have helped businesses and families get through the last months of the pandemic.     We can win in 2022 and continue building progress for the American people, but we need your help right now. We need to raise the resources for campaigns across the country so they can get their messages out. We have to get organizers out on the streets now before Republicans have the chance to muddy the waters and find a way to diminish the progress Democrats are making.   If we can hit our goals this month, we can start building teams in districts across the country that will let voters know what Democrats are doing to help them.
