Justice Democrats: John Kasich

 

This is a story we know all too well. Democrats are blaming progressives for election losses that the Party screwed up. The Democratic Party is taking its lead from the likes of Republican John Kasich, instead of their base.

AOC, Cori Bush, and Jamaal Bowman have been doing interviews and making the case on social media that this approach by the establishment is misguided. Instead of focusing their calls to action on making change in this country, establishment Democrats are blaming working-class progressive fighters.

No matter how difficult it will be, our movement to elect working-class candidates to take on the establishment will keep fighting and keep winning.

We’re fighting to fix a broken system. All too often, the DCCC has made that hard. The DCCC’s blacklist means that Democrats don’t have access to the best digital organizers and strategic minds in progressive politics.

For the DCCC, protecting their corporate members and donors is more important than winning progressive change for the people. The establishment is in trouble if it keeps listening to moderate Republicans instead of the progressives organizing communities and winning elections.

We’re with AOC, Jamaal, Cori, and the Democratic Party should be, too.
