No one tells Ed where to stand.

Even when the battle was lonely or it meant being a troublemaker, Ed has always been willing to fight for what’s right.

When he was in the state legislature, he upset party leaders by fighting against the status quo. The bosses were so mad that they threw his desk in the hallway.

Ed didn’t care. He did what was right for the people of Massachusetts, and he made clear he always would:

Senator Ed Markey: The bosses may tell me where to sit. No one tells me where to stand.

Ed has held true to that promise.

He rocked the boat on Capitol Hill when he partnered with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to introduce the Green New Deal. He did that because he knew it was what our country and planet needed.

He did not wait for the political winds to change. He made the case for our progressive agenda and transformed the conversation forever.

We need his leadership in the fight for our progressive agenda now more than ever.

Will you make a $25 donation to our campaign to keep Ed at the forefront of the fights that define our times? He cannot win this fight against big money, backers of the status quo alone.

Thanks for all you do!
