In the most recent poll, progressive candidate Mondaire Jones was just three points down in the primary for New York’s 17th District. In the last 11 days before his primary, we have to do everything in our power to close that gap.

Growing up in Section 8 housing in NY-17, Mondaire was raised by a single mother working multiple jobs to stay afloat. His dedication to relief for working-class families is powerful because he’s experienced the struggle firsthand.

After graduating from Stanford and Harvard Law School, Mondaire went on to work for the Department of Justice under Obama. Then, he founded a nonprofit called Rising Leaders, and served on the boards of the NAACP and New York Civil Liberties Union.

Mondaire is a community leader at his core. In Congress, he’ll fight for a Green New Deal, Medicare for All, criminal legal reform, and an end to the influence of money in politics.
