Henry Cuellar just launched a series of negative attack ads calling Jessica Cisneros a district “outsider.” Of course that’s a lie! Jessica was born in Laredo, the heart of Texas’ 28th district.

But these are the kinds of frantic attacks we should expect from someone losing ground in the polls. Cuellar is using his corporate-funded war chest to spread brazen falsehoods because Jessica and our movement are catching up.

We only have 18 days until Jessica’s primary election. She needs our help.

But with all the special interest money at his side, he hasn’t had to defend himself all that much. Instead, he can pour cash into TV ads filled with falsehoods to win.
