RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel is leaving her position as the head of the Republican Party after nonstop failures and nearly bankrupting the Republican Party. McDaniel has been a disaster since day 1 as the leader of the GOP, and now she's leaving a mess that the next Chair likely won't be able to overcome (due to the fact that the top candidate is an election denier who is in Trump's pocket.) Farron Cousins explains what's happening.
"The conservative group Project Veritas and its former leader are taking the unusual step of publicly acknowledging that claims of ballot mishandling at a Pennsylvania post office in 2020 were untrue."
Republicans in the Senate tanked the border deal that they had demanded, following orders from Donald Trump. Republican Senator James Lankford, one of the lead architects of the bill, admitted after the failure that a popular conservative media figure had actually threatened him several weeks ago, saying that he would "Destroy" the Senator if he passed the legislation. Lankford wouldn't reveal who the commentator was, but given the breadth of the conservative media, the "who" doesn't really matter. Farron Cousins discusses this.
Rep. Dan Goldman destroys MAGA Republican Jim Jordan and the GOP's nonsensical claims about the "weaponization of the federal government" in epic fashion. Goldman bashes Jim Jordan's useless committee and points out Donald Trump is the true weaponization of the federal government. In addition, Goldman brings up Russia's interference in the 2016 presidential election and so much more.
During the Supreme Court argument on whether Donald Trump is disqualified from holding office under the 14th Amendment for engaging in insurrection, the Supreme Court justices put details over democracy. This video reviews the arguments in Donald Trump v. Norma Anderson - the case in which the Colorado Supreme Court disqualified Trump from the Colorado state ballot - and discusses how the justices got bogged down in the details and seemed to lose sight of the big picture: that the plain language of the Constitution disqualifies Trump from holding office.
