We already knew Hawley was a leader in the fight to criminalize reproductive rights in our country. After all, his corrupt family business led the charge to overturn Roe v. Wade AND the effort to ban the abortion pill mifepristone all the way up to the Supreme Court. Hawley himself even pioneered the legal arguments that led to shutdowns of IVF clinics in Alabama earlier this year. His obsession with “manhood” and “masculinity” have been pretty obvious too. Just take the weird book he published last year, “Manhood: The Masculine Virtues America Needs” — his attempt to convince all of America’s men that they should be made in his own creepy image. But now, Hawley’s standing by Butker’s attack on working women. DEFEAT JOSH HAWLEY » This guy wants to control every little thing about our lives — what we do in the workplace, in the bedroom, and in the doctor’s office. He even wants to be in charge of what we do with our own bodies. It’s weird. It’s creepy. And it’s sure as hell not his job. I’m running to replace him in the U.S. Senate because I believe everyday people should have the power to make decisions about their own lives without some control-obsessed politician or elite getting in the way. That’s a message that resonates with Missourians of all parties, all across the state.
