YOU DON'T HAVE TO LIVE IN TEXAS TO RECOGNIZE THAT GREG ABBOTT
IS A FAILED LEADER IN TOO MANY RESPECTS!
Texas recently released its latest academic accountability rating, and the verdict is in: public school performance is falling flat.
Of more than 9,000 campuses across the state, nearly 40% scored a C, D, or an F – 4 out of 10 Texas schools are failing or barely scraping by under Greg Abbott's watch.
And even more troubling — the schools receiving failing grades at disproportionate rates are predominantly low-income, Hispanic and Black communities.
The same communities that are already underfunded and overlooked. The same communities that trigger state takeovers, with entire districts being stripped of local control while wealthier schools continue to receive higher ratings and more resources.
These ratings unjustly punish the schools that need the most help instead of providing them with the support they actually deserve. And yet, Abbott and his administration keep pushing forward as if nothing is wrong.
Our students and teachers deserve better. And our communities deserve a governor who will actually invest in public education instead of letting schools fail.
I'm running to change that — to fully fund our public schools, to support our teachers, and to make sure every child in Texas, regardless of their zip code, background, or socioeconomic status — has access to a quality education.
So, will you chip in today to help us build the campaign we need to defeat Greg Abbott and give Texas public schools the leadership they deserve?

Let's build a Texas where every school and student succeeds.
Thank you,
