Great News That’s Terrible For Trump: Eight Wins They Want To Keep Buried. Oops.

A drag queen beat Texas. A sailor's father came home. A warehouse supervisor took down a travel ban. Plus five more.

Well that was a long week, so I’m glad to have some great news that’s terrible for Trump today. Eight wins that the regime probably never saw coming. They definitely don’t want us sharing them.

Speaking of sharing—before we jump in, hit the ❤️ like button, then restack. Restacking delivers this edition into feeds of people who’ve spent seven straight days being told resistance doesn’t work. Your share can be the proof they need.

We are full speed ahead to turn Trump into a lame duck. Everything we do runs on our amazing community here. Come on board as a paid subscriber today to back our exclusive investigations and our organizing of enormous social media and Congressional pressure campaigns. All of it done here. Join us today:

The Drag Queen Who Beat Texas

Brigitte Bandit testified against Texas Senate Bill 12—Dolly Parton gave her a rhinestone guitar for it. On Tuesday, Judge David Hittner—a Reagan appointee—struck that law down for the second time, permanently barring AG Ken Paxton from enforcing it. The judge had advice for anyone offended by drag shows: “just don’t go.”

Of course, Paxton says he’ll appeal. Brigitte’s already booked to perform in Austin tonight.

A Sailor’s Father Is Home

Border Patrol arrested Luis Manuel Aviles Roa in Key West last Saturday and turned him over to ICE. His son Joshua is a sailor aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln, deployed for more than nine months.

On Monday, the regime said publicly he would stay in custody pending removal. An immigration judge threw the case out that same day. On Tuesday, the Aviles family gave a statement: released back to our family.

The Families Who Stopped A Grand Jury

A grand jury in Fort Worth demanded the name and medical file of every patient treated for gender dysphoria as a minor at a New York hospital going back to 2020. Three families and two young adults sued anonymously to stop it, and a judge blocked the subpoena in July.

The Justice Department asked an appeals court to lift that block. On Wednesday, the court refused. Two of the three judges were appointed by Trump.

A Warehouse Supervisor Took Down A Travel

 Ban

Cesar Aguirre’s wife had her immigration interview in Guatemala on January 21—the day the regime’s ban on 75 countries took effect. She was refused. She is still there with their two-year-old, who has a condition that needs her heart and eyes watched and cannot get that care in Guatemala.

Aguirre sued. On August 21, Judge Jeannette Vargas threw the entire ban out, writing: “In many ways, this is not a challenging case.” It wasn’t.

Neighbors Got Federal Agents Off County

 Land

Immigration agents were training at San Diego County’s Otay Mesa firing range, until local community organizers caught wind of it. Residents kept showing up at board meetings until the supervisors had to act. Three Democrats on the board voted 3-2 to end the contracts. Agents can no longer train there.

The Columnist Who Got Her Job Back

Karen Attiah spent more than a decade at The Washington Post, where she was the last Black full-time columnist on the opinion desk, until she was fired over her social media posts following the death of Charlie Kirk. Arbitrator Sarah Miller Espinosa found the Post had no good and sufficient cause to fire her, and ordered her reinstated with back pay.

Cities Said No, The Court Agreed

The federal housing and transportation departments awarded funding for shelters and roads. Then the regime tried to change the agreements. They wanted any recipient to agree to check immigration papers, and not spend anything on gender ideology or abortion. Thirty-one cities, counties, and local agencies sued instead of bending the knee.

On Tuesday, the Ninth Circuit struck most of the regime’s conditions down. Judge Margaret McKeown wrote that they “far exceed the limited authority set out by Congress.”

Moné Holder Won A Seat Nobody Expected

Five council seats in Jacksonville are elected by the entire city instead of just one neighborhood. Republicans held every one of them. Moné Holder ran against a retired sheriff’s commander who was backed by the sheriff and more than half the sitting council.

Holder won outright with 51% of the vote—no runoff needed. She’ll be sworn in on Monday.

These are just eight of the many wins we covered this week, and there are more coming our way. I intend to keep giving our victories the spotlight they deserve, and sharing them with millions of people who would never see them otherwise. And we will keep the pressure on Congress—with more than 826,000 letters sent via our organizing program since November of 2024.

We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. And I promise you this: after taking on Trump for more than a decade, there is no way in hell I’m backing down now. The future is bright, and it’s on us all to shine that light.

A Reagan appointee just told Ken Paxton to sit down. Two Trump appointees refused to help the DOJ. What’s your read—are the courts actually holding the line?

And let me know about any wins—big or small—personal or otherwise!

COMMENTS:

The courts work—a little slowly for us, but working in general. More from TX—word was going around Houston on Thursday that the big fundraiser for Paxton had to downsize the venue, due to low table sales. Paxton’s Pity Party? Hope he and Criminal-in-Chief had a good (quiet) visit. 😂

It’s always great to hear on-the-ground news from Texas! A downsized venue tells you everything you need to know about where their support really is.

They can lie about the score. They can’t un-release a story. Hold on to that truth. Then go be useful with it! Keep pushing!

That is exactly right. They can spin it all they want, but they can't change the facts on the ground. Keep pushing!

“just don’t go.” The perfect response to Republicans who want to stick their noses into what you believe, what you read, who you have sex with, how you treat your neighbors and friends if their skin color isn't white. I'm glad one can rely on most judges, even if appointed by Reagan.

"Just don't go" really sums it up perfectly. It's heartening to see the courts uphold those boundaries!

What a concept, huh? As you said, the "party of less government" wants control of our most personal decisions, which do not impact anyone else. Freedumb!

The hypocrisy is definitely glaring! It’s all about control. Thanks for speaking up!

On the surface it looks really weird, right? But under the surface, well, the billionaires, mega-multimillionaires and huge corporations and conglomerates have the $$$, but they don't have enough votes to elect the mayor of a mid-size city. To get those votes, they've enlisted those freaked out by civil rights, women's rights, and gay/lesbian rights and those convinced that the U.S. should be a (Protestant) Christian nation. Needless to say, these constituencies overlap, and unfortunately there's no shortage of them -- though I want to believe that some of them are having second thoughts and/or paying more attention to the fine print.

Yes, Susanna, that's why I think it's so important to vote at the local level. I want to believe that there are more of "us", compassionate and tolerant people who can make up their own minds, versus bigoted brainwashed idiots. I (now) live in a mid-sized city, and last year was the first time I ever voted for a mayor, I have to confess! I just didn't know that it can make a huge difference.

Too many Americans are absolutely ignorant of how the early settlers and definitely the Founders yearned for religious freedom in the new nation. Now they want us to be a theocracy, which is antithetical to that ideal.

Now Trump supporters everywhere in America are learning a painful lesson, that everyone else knew all along - "Everything Trump Touches Dies" and Trump eventually comes for everyone and expects payment as in MONEY (Our Money) for himself every time. Oh and STILL NO Prosecutions of Sex Traffickers and Pedophiles in the Epstein Files - NOT ONE!!! Todd Blanche and the Corrupt DOJ Continue Their Cover Up of the Epstein Files - and have turned their backs on ANY law enforcement unless it involves attacking and "enforcing" laws against the "enemies" of Trump - that is ALL they do. Go to the polls no matter what and send a message - Trump and his Corruption are going to be crushed in the upcoming elections and THEN hold every damn one of them accountable for their crimes against America. And send them ALL to the "Donald Trump/Natalie Harp" (named in his "honor") Prison for Corrupt Politicians - with UNPAID public service to Americans in every county in every state as part of their accountability.......

You said it perfectly. The grift is exhausting, but it's clearly catching up to them. A massive turnout at the ballot box is the ultimate remedy!

Thank you for starting our weekend off with wonderful news!

Done!✅

Two words: Where’s Mitch?

That’s another crime occurring in broad daylight.

The silence is definitely speaking volumes, Al. We need accountability now more than ever!

I don’t understand all the secrecy about McConnell, what is the purpose of keeping his health hidden, it’s not like they need the money and the Senate isn’t doing anything now so why?

I am just speculating based on witnessing the tragic death of someone who had POLIO as a child. It was debilitating - I visited several times in the hospital - she left behind a SPECIAL NEEDS CHILD who depended on her support.

There is a POST-POLIO syndrome that  effects those who were previously infected as children.

The article below explains that there is NO KNOWN TREATMENT or PREVENTION.

MITCH MCCONNELL has been wheeled around by STAFF in a WHEELCHAIR - no public speaking.

IMO Republicans are preserving his seat for a VOTE.

There were reports about ELAINE CHAO redecorating, as well as traveling to CHINA - the family owns companies that have created WEALTH - not to be thwarted!

MITCH MCCONNELL's life has always been about SELF-ENRICHMENT, not about his constituents. There are numerous articles available, here's one:

Here's how Mitch McConnell screwed over Kentucky miners to fund Russia-linked aluminum plant: report

From RON FILIPKOWSKI:

… NOTUS: “For more than a year, the National Park Service has been quietly working to fulfill an unprecedented directive from Trump officials: Parcel off a corner of Yosemite National Park to give to a private developer. National Park Service staff are trying to arrange a land exchange between a Nevada-based company and the federal govt.”

… “Since the spring of 2025, the Trump admin has been looking into ways it could cede a roughly quarter-mile strip of land inside Yosemite to a company that, through a web of limited-liability companies, is operated by real-estate developer and investment firm Kingsbarn Realty Capital. Officials are proposing the Park Service give up the land or ‘interest’ in the land in the form of an easement, and in return receive land of equal value somewhere in CA that has yet to be decided.”

… “The private developers own an 83-acre plot of land just outside the western boundaries of Yosemite, about 5 miles from one of the park’s defining ancient sequoia groves. Jeff Pori, the CEO of Kingsbarn, wants to build a short road connecting the property to one of Yosemite’s central thoroughfares. The new road would give the land exceptionally rare private access to a park that is otherwise almost entirely buffered by national forests.”

You might find this interesting....so the IRAN WAR didn't cost anything?

Who LIED?

This continues to ERUPT!

RUSSIA provided INTELLIGENCE to IRAN to BOMB U.S MILITARY INSTALLATIONS and EQUIPMENT...and there's no DEFENSE EQUIPMENT left?

… Guardian: “Trump’s war on Iran has driven the US military into a severe financial crisis, with the US navy forced to transfer money from its payroll and other sources to cover the costs of combat, according to documents seen by the Guardian, and interviews with navy officials, contractors and defense analysts.”

… One Pentagon memo about navy funding seen by the Guardian warns that there are “shortfalls in payroll” accounts due to the dept “raiding” them to fund combat operations. A Navy official said money is shifted around in imaginative ways:

“The money for payroll was robbed to pay for overseas contingencies and is being backfilled by money that hasn’t been spent. They are backfilling payroll so we get enough money in our paycheck.”

The ORANGE TURD and his INCOMPETENT BOOBS got him into an ILL-CONCEIVED WAR with known consequences - like the STRAIT OF HORMUZ.

This needs to be a MID-TERM ISSSUE along with the MASSIVE DEBT and DEFICIT that your GRANDCHILDREN will never be able to pay!

WHISKEY PETE is in charge!

Since CHINA and RUSSIA are supporting IRAN...tRump's options?
