To blame it on education goes back decades and decades. Do we educate racism out of children? Gullibility? Selfishness? Bigotry. Misogyny? Why do we constantly blame education, ie the teachers, for society's failures? Blame the parents or the voters themselves for their hatreds, their selfishness, their gullibility.

I live in an affluent, well educated community in liberal Massachusetts that votes 60% republican. Mass. has always been one of the leaders in quality public education, many time the best in the country. I know college educated who support trump: doctors, teachers, nurses. What is the excuse for these people? When will we blame them, make them responsible for their vote? We are all adults. The trumpers support these policies by choice. They choose to remain willfully ignorant, they choose to turn a blind eye to the atrocities, the corruption, the lies, the violence. They could educate themselves as easily as the rest of us do by reading Meidas, The New Republic, The Guardian, Heather Cox Richardson and more. Many of these publications are free. They choose to ignore the truth. Lack of education has nothing to do with it, just a willful blindness and a refusal to see that right before their eyes. 

In MASSACHUSETTS:

I've knocked on doors in "R" voting communities and received the response "WE ONLY VOTE FOR REPUBLICANS!"

They close their ears and eyes!

They ignore issues such as MEDICRE FOR ALL would save money and lives.

A woman who was on a local school committee opposed buying new SCIENCE TEXT BOOKS to replace 20 year old SCIENCE TEXT BOOKS because she stated that SCIENCE HASN'T CHANGED MUCH!

She ran for statewide office and REPUBLICANS voted for her. (She was defeated.)

A Brockton resident ran for MAYOR and was defeated. Next election, she ran for PLYMOUTH COUNTRY TREASUREER - no qualifications. PLYMOUTH COUNTY has the largest pension program (it's the largest county), the office cost alone is something like $10 MILLION. The incumbent has won awards, rave review, lots of financial credentials...

I listened to the DEBATE, she was fully unaware of the governing statutes...got a small number of "R" votes. (YES! It's boring to read the governing statutes, but you want the job? I looked them up!)

When SCOTT BROWN lost election against ELIZABETH WARREN, I was out and about running errands and encountered local REPUBLICANS in mourning. So I asked "Did you know he voted for XX?" The reply was invariably "NO" I asked "Did you know he voted against YYY?" Again the response was "NO" !

SCOTT BROWN'S votes are public record and I posted them.

(Remember that SCOTT BROWN filled Senator Kennedy's unexpired term, was elected because the democrat refused to campaign.)

In MASSACHUSETTS, consider TODAY!

We have 3 WEALTHY WANNABEE GOP FLUNKIES running for GOVERNOR who want to bring MAGA to MASSACHUSETTS!

They refuse to condemn tRump's ICE GESTAPO THUGS and MASS GOP CHAIR AMY CARNEVALE stated " WE SUPPORT LAW ENFORCEMENT!"

In the aftermath of the MINNEAPOLIS KILLINGS of US CITIZENS, all 3 MAGA BOOBS indicated they would wait for the REPORT - the one DHS has obstructed.

REPUBLICANS alone generously funded tRUMP'S ICE GESTAPO THUGS and refuse to condemn their killings. And now they have ELECTRIC GLOVES? What could go wrong?

Too many people have yet to figure out that DEPORTING WORKERS will create massive voids.

And what of the MAGA BOOBS running for GOVERNOR?

You should be the headline of The Boston Globe. Keep up shouting and screaming…some of it will get thru to the “stone heads” that support MAGA politicians!

I am a firm believer that if REPUBLICANS DIDN'T LIE, NO ONE WOULD ELECT THEM! 

Look at what  the BRAIN DEAD MASS GOP DID: 

1. NOMINATED 3 WEALTHY MAGATS FOR GOVERNOR - including SLOW ZONE SHORTSLEEVE who couldn't figure out that it was state law to get competitive bids for his BATHROOM/LUNCHROOM FIASCO that the WHITE TOOTHED GOVERNOR DEFENDED. This BOOB left the MBTA with TRACKS that were defective, a federal safety report ignored...that he uses his MBTA office on his resume defines STUPID! 

2. CARPETBAGGER, CRYPTO SCAMMER PERENNIAL LIAR JOHN DEATON? You're kidding? 

THE BOOB JOHN DEATON stood at the base of one of the CAPE COD CANAL BRIDGES,  surrounded by other BRAIN DEAD GOP, and blamed SEN. ELIZABETH WARREN for the lack of funding - ALL LIES! 

The CORPS OF ENGINEERS owns those BRIDGES and tRump SLASHED FUNDING! 

Did any single REPUBLICAN address the issue with tRump? NO! 

As we know, this was and continues to be a COMPLEX PROBLEM because no bridge can be shut pending construction - new bridges need to be erected while existing FAILED BRIDGES continue to operate because the CAPE cannot be isolated. 

PERENNIAL LIAR JOHN DEATON attended a SINGLE MEETING regrading the STEWARD BANKRUPTCY and pronounced an IRRATIONAL SOLUTION to a COMPLEX ISSUE that is not yet fully resolved to provide CARE to impacted areas. 

SLAP DASH BULL SH*T is not a solution! 

If you paid attention, you were aware that STEWARD collapsed at the same time COMPASS abruptly closed, abandoning 70,000 local residents. 

It required responsible elected officials to unite and find solutions. 

STEWARD's failures are not yet appropriately resolved and fail to provide EMERGENCY CARE in certain  areas, among other issues. 

How about the NORWOOD HOSPITAL? 

In addition, PERENNIAL LIAR JOHN DEATON voted 3 times in 20 years. 

There were CRIMINAL ASSAULT CHARGES filed against JOHN DEATON. 

Isn't that a DISBARRMENT QUALITIFICATION? He's been fighting it....what's the outcome? Just postponing it so no one would notice? 

When 2 US CITIZENS were shot and killed in MINNEAPOLIS that PUBLIC VIDEO evidence proves their innocence, 3 MASSGOP Gubernatorial candidates, in unison blabbered about WAITING FOR THE REPORT - you know? The report that DHS ICE THUGS are OBSTRUCTING? 

The best BRAIN DEAD AMY CARNEVALE could do was " WE SUPPORT LAAW ENFORCEMENT!"  KILLING INNOCENT US CITIZZENS is LAW ENFORCEMENT?
